"This was a one-night stay for us to attend a funeral in a remote area. It was in a good location that offered everything we needed. Room was quiet and large. Bed was firm and while we did sleep all night, it was "crinkly" and super firm. The spider webs that greeted us outside in front of the door were yukky but didn't affect the inside. Towels are terrible. Thin and almost thread bare enough that we used the "bath" towel provided and the hand towel to dry off with. Invest some $ in new...

"I wanted to be out in the country but feel safe at the same time. This was just the ticket. It is in a country setting, but being close to the main house I felt very safe and secure. The cottage is a small one, but for one or two people it is just perfect. It is a perfect quiet get away when you just want to absorb nature and the quiet."

"This cozy and clean cabin in the woods was exactly what we expected. I looked forward to sipping my coffee on the porch every morning, and watching the river flow by. Some excursions we enjoyed include the Bangor Mall, a hike at Hirundo Wildlife Refuge (bring bug spray!), a show at the planetarium at UMaine, and lobster at Pepper’s Landing. "We loved the location of this property. We have our own kayaks and we loved how easy it was to get them in and out of the water. We also enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch where there is a nice breeze coming off of the other lake across the street. The kitchen is recently renovated and the bedrooms are nice and cozy. I have also never seen a place so well stocked with firewood. Property managers are ver friendly and helpful. 10/10."

"Staff needs to provide specific instructions to travelers not staying in the same building as the registration desk, rather than pointing in a general direction and rattling off the building name. Staff needs to be aware that some travelers are not familiar with the campus and building names, maybe writing the name of the building would be helpful. Same for access to WiFi service, instructions are incorrect, instructing guests to log into a service that according to the front desk rep. does not exist. Staff seemed annoyed to have to explain the proper WiFi service and log in procedures. When attempting to login to the WiFi service, note states you have to enter an access code, which is actually the password (without a space, which was not clear either). "
