"If you don’t have a car, it is very difficult to get around as taxis and uber are limited in the area. We had multiple taxi drivers say yes and cancel. Rooms are dated and weird smell coming from the carpet. With limited transportation, we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant which was not good. We booked through Expedia and chose a pay at hotel option - and had picked to include breakfast and access to the spa. The hotel denied that we had chosen that option. Expedia said they couldn’t do...

"2 Grand parents 3 grand children We took the appartment for 12 !! # brilliant - bike rides ,tennis,walking, Sunset Beach Restaurant a short drive lovely staff even better food at extremely reasonable prices The only problem was the outdoor pool ( open until 30 Sept) was closed And rthe uindoor pool- open all year round was also closed A big disappointment for the kids -a bit less so for me !!"

"This hotel is awful and disgusting; the smell of mold and dust instantly chokes you as you enter. The bed was hard, the pillows were awful, and the blanket was very thin, making the winter stay extremely cold. The bathroom is designed in such a way that even with a heater, the shower remains freezing cold. "12/30/24- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. We had to catch a train at 5:55 AM. Cit'Hôtel le Welcome was the perfect place for it. Really less than 5 minute walk to the train station, therefore easy access to both the train and the Altibus to the ski stations of the Savoie! We did not spend much time there to enjoy the area, and the proprietor seemed very nice. We were in and out very fast. Quiet area, clean room with the necessary essentials. "Room was perfect for a one night stay, was nice, clean and well maintained. We weren’t made aware that we had to book to eat in the restaurant and due to being busy we were turned away. After travelling from Calais we didn’t want to drive into town or eat McDonald’s, so this was disappointing. Overall good hotel, just ensure you book the restaurant to eat. "
