"Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! "Cabin was what was described. The TV was not working and WiFi was poor to say the least. The room was clean, but we did get quite a few mosquito bites at night—-but let’s be real, it’s a campground. Bed and sheets were clean. Staff spoke “okay English” but they were super friendly and did their best. They advertise private beach with chairs, but these are not included in the fee. "The property is lovely, very clean and comfortable. The views from the terrace of the surrounding mountains are superb, and the area is very quiet. We booked the "Cook at home" experience and I have to say it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The pool is well maintained and a good size, but could maybe benefit from some umbrellas/shade. Overall we had a fantastic week here and would definitely book again!"

"We recently enjoyed 2 weeks at the property and it was exactly as we had hoped - quiet, relaxing and a great getaway from our hectic lives. The road in was not as precarious as others had mentioned and once at the home it’s fantastic. The views are wonderful and all the conveniences one would expect are at your fingertips.
