"Although the furnishings may be outdated, and the castle is a good drive uphill on an Italian twisty-road… we were very happy with our stay here: it’s a castle room! We enjoyed it. Be prepared for bird song in the morning, and beautiful valley vistas. Bring your wine and snacks: there are no shops around! Breakfast was included and it was good. Parking is a bit downhill but on property. Add 15 minutes to your expected drive to all area attractions and you will be fine. Enjoy Giomici castle! "

"Beautiful old apartment in historic Gubbio. Elena and Frederica were easy to deal with and met us to direct us to apartment. Even had a garage!(small cars only). "Sandra, the host who manages the property is so friendly and welcoming. There are groups of apartments around a courtyard each with a kitchen. Perfect base for exploring the area, but a car is needed. Swimming pool with views from the hillside. Parking spaces for each apartment which have their own charming names!
