"Villa facility was very clean although the floor definitely needed to be mopped All communication was in French which is a minus - contact should be multi-lingual or at least in English as well Lack of breakfast was a big minus and local Tabac recommended for breakfasts was very dirty full of tobacco smoke and unclean so we did not eat there"

"This is an intriguing house full of character, unexpected corners and evidence of a long past family history. There are lots of pictures, books and masses of equipment of every sort (some quite old). There is lots of space, some impressive downstairs rooms and attractive bedrooms, with comfortable beds. It is still a work in progress, (a beautiful new fridge arrived while we were there) and there are parts of the house less fully renovated than others, but this did not detract from our...

"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. "We all enjoyed our stay at the Les Tramois. The cottage is really charming and is set in a beautiful location. There are horses, a donkey, peacocks, fish, hens… Our children loved interacting with the animals, jumping into a huge paddling pool as well as doing archery and bouncing on a trampoline. Lots to do for the young! There is a nice woody walk and a well equipped charcoal bbq. Fabien is a wonderful unobtrusive but very helpful host. Thank you for having us!"

Wonderful stay and location

"Lovely hotel with modern comfort and beautiful views. Wine bar in hotel and breakfast offered each morning with both hot and cold options. Great location to walk around Sancerre and also close to many walking paths. I'd suggest getting a room with a balcony or view of the valley. "
