"We had the best time at Simmer Down. We wrangled up some extended family and came for a long weekend. We had lots of fun doing activities outside of the cabin, but the best part was coming “home” and relaxing. We enjoyed grilling, hot tubbing, drinking coffee, watching the kids play on the playground, and playing cards on the awesome deck/wrap around porch. S’mores around the fire, of course. We made lasting memories playing pool, watching tv, and having big family dinners around the huge dining room table. We are already ready to come back (preferably in cooler weather next time!). The cabin was so clean and well kept, and it honestly had everything we needed and more. The layout of the cabin is open and perfect for entertaining, but the bedrooms are also private and located perfectly upstairs and downstairs. The rustic decor is so cozy. The only minor issue we had was the Wi-Fi signal being weak (probably because so many of us were connecting to it at once), but who needs strong WiFi while you’re in a cabin in the woods with loved ones?! We would recommend again and again. "
