"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done. "The apartment is lovely furnished with a full kitchen and it is very clean and everything you need is ready. The hot chocolate and the biscuits are so lovely. Staffs are nice and ready to help. There is an ice cream farm nearby. The milk and ice cream are fabulous. "

"We hadn’t appreciated what a gorgeous location this property was in. The view from the front of the cottage over the reservoir is gorgeous, and a first floor reading nook is so cosy and gives the feeling of being by the sea side! The property is really tastefully decorated, making it feel like a home from home. The check in process was really smooth and easy to understand. The weather during our visit was terrible but we would love to come back again with better weather to take advantage of all...

"Beautiful clean property in a good location. Beautiful roll top bath and bathroom. Unfortunately toiletries on the wall were not in easy reach while in bath. No hairdryer in room but I would imagine if we’d contacted reception they would have provided one. Not ideal. Just a few little niggles but otherwise a lovely place to stay and great breakfast. "

"We were in town for an athletics competition and looking for somewhere cheap to stay considering the price we paid was really surprised by what a top-notch hotel it was. Really friendly helpful staff and a very delicious breakfast can thoroughly recommend. Only thing was paying £15 for parking for a few hours "

A fabulous weekend

"The hotel was brilliant our nephew absolutely loved every minute of his stay it’s very child friendly he loved the bunk beds and bean bag in the room We had a meal at the restaurant with the dragons and dinosaurs great for the kids but the bistro was much nicer. The wildlife park was brilliant. We will definitely be back."
