"We arrived by train which was less than ideal as it is up a steep hill. Best to come by car. Having arrived there it was an ideal retreat and handy for a visit to the Bastion Bridge. Also has great views over Saxony Switzerland."

"This is a beautiful and quiet hotel, perfect for a relaxing weekend. A few things to be aware of for future guests: the main parking lot fills up very quickly on weekend evenings. There is an additional lot across the street, but it's easy to miss until you see other cars parked there. Also, note that the restaurant does not have its own restroom facilities."

" A nice room in a nice hotel that is pretty remote, a long drive to get back down to Bad Schandau, however you stay there for the view which was pretty damn good. Really nice breakfast and really nice staff"
