"The property does have a slight slant on the first floor which can be fun after a few adult beverages. The house was clean and provided all the things i needed. The host communicated the door number the morning off as promised. The only complaint i would have is the pool table is too big for that room and the dart board is missing the darts. I would rent this house again next time I'm in Roanoke. "

"Cool cabin, peaceful and quiet. Very basic items were provided. Bring your own kitchen and bath items, like baking dish, spices, cooking oil, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Washer and dryer in the bathroom was convenient. You have to hand wash dishes since no dishwasher. Trout in the pond are used to being fed with fish food rather than hunting for natural food. Lol. Saw couple turkeys and couple deer around the pond. Lots of birds and squirrels."

"We stayed here for a Va Tech Clemson football game. It was about a 45 minute drive. Cottage was well equipped with everything you could need. Kitchen was stocked with everything. Bathrooms were updated and spacious and beds very comfortable. Nice to sit out on the porch in rocking chairs and enjoy the peaceful nature. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts was very responsive."

"Convenient location. Adequate place to stay but could use some TLC. Street lights from the church across the street shined very brightly in the bedroom window so some room darkening curtains would be helpful. The only bathroom is in the bedroom so this was awkward with my friend staying with me. The host was quick to respond and helpful with questions."

"I came here with my partner and friends to celebrate my birthday. The host, Ed, was accommodating and responded to messages promptly. We loved being right on the lake and enjoyed the firepit in the backyard. The house had plenty of games (card games, board games, video games). "Elevator has not been inspected since July 2023 and it should be inspected every year. Also we had reserved a king bed and were given a queen instead. We did not report this. Otherwise our experience was very nice."
