"Lovely colourful rooms. A bit on the small size but you don’t spend a lot of time in them. Great that as a little kitchenette but if I recall correctly no kettle? Nice little swimming pool at the back. Also can use Pestana pools next door. The pool restaurant next door could improve on their snack offerings. Offer simple things like hot chick fries and snacks. Good location, close to restaurants, grocery store and a great bakery/cafe (A Confeitaria). The staff was super friendly and helpful....

"Love Madeira and the place is in a great location. Unfortunatley, after booking our non-refundable five-night stay we were charged an additional $140 for an "additional guest fee". Even though the Vrbo is listed for four guests, he charged us an addition $140 because we had three total guests and the base rate price is only for two guests. Good luck if you have any more than two guests because you will be charged almost double for your stay and will not be able to cancel after you booked it."

"Items in the bathroom needed repair, there was a lack of utensils and general information on the use of the electrical setup. Worse of all the Property Manager insinuated that we may have broken the towel rack instead of us finding it that way. "We were very irritated with the parking situation. There is no onsite parking. Upon checking in we were given two public locations that we can use which were roughly a quarter a mile away. There were no in and out privileges. The parking venue operating hours weren’t convenient for us as we had an early departure flight. Street parking was limited and during our stay, we never found a spot. They were either reserved or occupied. We contemplated moving to another location, but after realizing the Christmas Market was just around the corner, this more than made up for the parking issue and stayed. We did cut our stay one day as we had no access to our car due to the parking operating hours. We would not have been able to return our car before our flight home. The hotel is beautiful in a very beautiful surrounding area. There are convenient dining options and one was recommended by a hotel staff which we enjoyed. The hotel served delicious breakfast with so many options accommodating various palate. Most of all, the staff is top notched. Despite being annoyed with the parking issue, my husband and I ended up loving this hotel and plan to return to this hotel with other family members. If you do stay in this area, ditch the car. It’s just a headache to have one. Taxis are available to distant sites for reasonable rates. In fact, we did not need our car until the last day. "

"Ana “ morning buffet “ Fatima front desk and another Venezuelan lady “ worked at the front desk with Fatima “ were professional , fun to talk to . This is my fourth time to Madeira but first time staying at this property . I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others . Very convenient, walking distance. They have a bar at the 5th floor “ you can use your welcome drink ticket there “ . "
