"Spent three nights. Nice modern hotel. Large room with 2 double beds, large bathroom, kitchen area. Exercise room, tiny pool (2 ft depth), & sauna on top floor. Standard SA breakfast. Wine tasting every evening. Staff was generally okay. Be warned, there are a lot of fees on top of the room cost. Of course, breakfast & wine tasting. But also change of towels & change of linens that were not explained up front. It adds up."

"Staff were friendly and keen to help. Room was bright, clean, bed was comfy, air-conditioning worked. Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. Not so good was the limited front-desk hours which meant having to plan to arrive within a two-hour window. Also the bikes for rent could be in better shape (and not all built for six-foot-tall riders)."

"We were warmly greeted by the hosts when we checked in. The bungalow was beautiful and included a wood burning fireplace which was lit for us when we arrived in the evening. We spent a few nights in watching the Olympics on the big screen TV which offered many channels for international viewers. The bedding was soft and king size bed very comfortable. "This property is a beautiful area, surrounded by nature. It’s a very pretty Resort. Unfortunately the property needs to be kept up better. Over the years it has become old and deteriorated, they need to do a better job to maintain it fix what coming apart. Overall from the outside, beautiful, but once you started to see it needs slit if work and they aren’t doing a good job to maintain and a bit of lack in cleanliness. Lots os super webs everywhere.
