Check in was supposed to be at 2pm. I arrived at 4pm and was told my room was not ready yet. Waited until almost 5pm which was inconvenient as I had to leave for an event by 6. Receptionist was not apologetic or very concerned. Once I got my room, someone entered with a key .. seemed to be a cleaner bringing in new cups. She was not made aware that I already checked into the room and was given the key. She quickly closed the door and left … didn’t even leave the new cups .

Very disappointed. The room was gross when I arrived, there was gunk in the little coffee pot, someone’s leftover food in the fridge, and other people’s leftover trash or random things under the bed. I only slept there one of the two nights I actually had booked and ended up leaving at like 1 am because I felt too unsafe being there. And it was just a very gross, small room with not much to offer. The shower head was clearly old and had some build up on it. Had to fully sanitize the bathroom best I could with my own clorox wipes before I felt comfortable using it. The only good thing was the night staff who was kind enough to help me get back in my room after I accidentally locked myself out. Overall bad experience.

Excellent service I booked for the wrong date and had no trouble changing. Very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and they had a shuttle to bring us to the game. Will definitely be back.

Was here for an event at Huntington Center. Hotel provided shuttle/uber services for downtown events for free which was amazing! Hotel room/building needs updating. Room ceiling was peeling and smelled wet. Outside area was dirty and smelled of smoke and had broken fixtures/doors/lights. Overall ok for a 24 hour stay.

This place was very horrid fire detector kept beeping place was very dirty and smelled bad of cigarettes and people next door were very very loud. Front desk staff were not very accommodating

Wi-fi doesn’t works inside of suite. We must go to the corridor outside to get the signal. Sink on the washrooms was clogged. No refill inside of the shower shampoo or conditioner. And a used soap was on the shower. The frame bed was broken. A/C too noisy. The customer on the next room looks like had a party with a loudly music until 2am and smoking marijuana.

It’s perfect for a short stay if you’re coming down to watch a game or catch a show. The room wasn’t the cleanest but we didn’t stay in it long. It served its purpose beautifully and if you’re coming from Canada it’s an easy drive to the tunnel. Will be back and would recommend. 3 stars for accuracy.

I really should have read the reviews before booking this room. Our room was so dirty- the carpet was sticky and gross. The pull out couch /bed was so nasty we didn’t sleep on it. I’m embarrassed at how much I paid for this room. Please don’t stay here. One positive is that the staff was super nice.

Hotel was all we needed. Shuttle to and from the red wings game was fantastic. Rooms were on the smaller side. The carpet should be changed out for tile or vinyl planks. Overall it served our needs.

When we arrived we seemed to be in an area that seemed a little sketchy. The people at the front desk were nice. We went to check in and their system was down so we had to wait for it to power up. We get to our room and it smelled like cigarettes. The bed was broken or leaned in, in the middle. The walls were paper thin, we could hear everything around us.

Wish there was a safe in room. My friend had to have his front door fixed, which maintenance was very speedy on. 15 min walk to Greek Town. There is a liquor mart around corner and at 3pm, police was escorting someone out. I was with 4 people (2 men), but wouldn't go there by myself or later. Uber to Little Caesars Arena for hockey game. Convenient.

It was quiet,convenient and within walking distance of Greektown,the stadiums and the riverfront. Bed was comfortable,room was clean,furniture needs replacing. Pebles at the front desk was wonderful with a good sense of humor! Breakfast was ok. Thee is a wonderful supermarket Meijer just up and across the street 2 min walk. If tou just need a clean ,comfortable place to sleep its a great spot if you are looking for all the extras move on.I would go go back.
