"Had arrived early & was able to get checked in, which was awesome! The staff was AMAZING!!
Lobby was very spacious, didn't utilize the fire pits, which are available through the front desk. Dined once at The Mist which is literally a 30 second walk from the hotel. Food was good, but will honestly say just a little overpriced, but that's expected for the convenience.
Room with a patio with view of the ocean is why you're paying the price you do. Would I do it again?, probably not, but for the first time, it was worth it. Just sleeping at night with the sliding door open & the sounds of the waves, are a natural way to fall asleep!! Having a room with a gas fireplace was an added bonus. Beds were comfortable, mini fridge & an actual mini-freezer with microwave in rooms helps, since there's a Safeway about a 5 min. away.
Couple mentions...When you're sitting out on the patio, your line of sight is exactly where the railing is :) And when there are people down below with fires going, it blows right into your room, so now your room smells like smoke!! And we were on the 3rd floor. Our screen was ripped in many spots, but didn't bother us.
Didn't partake in the Pool, but did use the 'Game Room' for a bit & there were 3 Stand Up Video Games that were free: Mortal Kombat, NBA, & Galaga/Ms. Pac-Man with other games included. Also Foosball, Ping-Pong Table & shuffleboard.
It was a very relaxing stay!"
