"We stayed for three nights. The room was great and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was obviously recently renovated and really nice. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and offered a lot of options. Though there was a rain shower in the bathroom, we missed a "normal" shower. Also a safe for valuable items would have been good. "

"We had a family weekend stay for our first trip to Tassie. I really liked how quirky this accommodation looked and it didnt disappoint. Old brick building, beautiful beams, gorgeous door in keeping with its older style. We were in the section by reception and noise was not an issue (I'd been a little concerned by some other reviews). There's a bend in the road that some boy-racers seem to like flying along, but we didn't notice any excessive noise. Bathroom a decent size, clean, daily housekeeping. About 15min walk to the marina and the main part of town, so well located. Walking distance to catarct gorge. Easy parking on site. Definitely go to the Penny Royal Adventure area onsite. We had a great time rock climbing, doing the rope bridges and zip lining. Would return if we ever go back to Launceston."

"Don't go by the advertised photos. The bathroom stink..bathroom door doesn't get close...the property is very old.. I liked indoor heated swimming pool facility.."
