Beautiful lodge, 4 king bedrooms, all with private baths! 5 decks to enjoy.

This 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, 3 story North Georgia home is over 3,000 square feet and is located approximately halfway between Dillard, Georgia and Highlands, NC. It has a wood burning fireplace and a fireplace with gas logs on the second floor living/dining area with a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, The 3,900 feet elevation provides wonderful summer temperatures, Bring your whole family to enjoy the serenity of the North Georgia Mountains. It is a great location for a reunion with family or friends.

On the first level of our home is a large stone floored great room with a stone fireplace, equipped with gas logs, and a king bedroom with a full bath. The bedroom has double french doors opening out to a private covered patio. The great room contains a couch for extra sleeping space.

The second floor which is very open and spacious contains the living area, dining area and kitchen. Both the living area has and dining area contain stone wood burning fireplaces the dining area fireplace is equipped with gas logs.i. They contain 3 sets of double french doors opening to covered porches, heart pine floors and 9-foot ceilings. The living area has 2 full size couches and a chaise lounge.

The dining room seats 8 with additional seating at the island in the kitchen or outside on the 2 covered porches where you can enjoy the scenic Blue Valley Mountain view. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. This floor also contains a half bath.

The top level of our lodge opens up into a bright and cheerful sunroom which contains a day bed with a pullout trundle which pops up and makes an additional king bed if needed. Opening off of the sunroom are 3 king bedrooms which all have private baths. The master and the sunroom open up to a covered porch where you may want to sit and read a book or just enjoy the mountain views.

As on the second floor you have the heart pine floors & 9' ceilings. Lots of windows and French doors allow you to enjoy the scenic mountains whether inside or out.

My guests have access to the pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, tennis courts, and work out facilities at Sky Valley Resort which is approximately 2 miles from the cabin.


Take advantage of the shopping and wonderful restaurants in the quaint towns of Highlands and Dillard. Visit nearby waterfalls and hiking trails. Rabun County is home to Lake Rabun and Lake Burton which have boat rentals or feel free to bring your own. There is also summer rafting and tubing nearby. In the winter, Scaly Mountain, NC provides snow tubing which is only 3 miles from our home.

Sapphire Valley Ski Resort in NC features great snow skiing, snowboarding and is located less than an hour away. Enjoy the solitude of this lodge yet you are just off the state road with a paved driveway. Only 2 hours from Atlanta.

Fall family getaway

This was our 16th year escaping to the mountains with our extended family (6 adults, 5 kids). The house was perfect for our group - nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the younger girls enjoyed the daybed on the landing upstairs. The owners were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Fall colors surrounded us in this comfortable home nestled in the mountains! The home is well stocked, nicely decorated and accommodated six adults and four children nicely. Communication was outstanding and we had a great stay.

Lovely mountain retreat

Our weekend stay here was quiet, lovely and fun, despite a strong electrical storm on the last night. The house is nicely decorated, well designed and comfortable, with plenty of seating for large family groups and a well appointed kitchen. Mountaintop views! Very enjoyable!

Mtn House for Wedding Weekend

House was spacious and well equipped for our family wedding weekend. Great communication with the owner on anything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were about 10 min from the Vinyard at High Holly for our son's wedding. About 20 min to Main St Highlands.

Wonderful cabin

What a great weekend! You have truly outdone yourself making your place feel like a home away from home, kitchen fully stocked, great beds And lots of decks for relaxing. Not only is the cabin beautiful but we loved the area as well. We enjoyed the quaint shops in highlands. My children loved the nearby zip line tour and we all enjoyed the many waterfalls in the area. We will be back.

Wonderful Holiday

My family and I enjoyed this beautiful home for our Thanksgiving Holiday. We are a large family with several grandchildren. We all fit and the 3 levels gave us plenty of room to spread out. This house is one of the most well stocked homes we have rented and we rent home 2 to 3 times a year. I can't think of 1 thing we didn't have at out fingertips. Would recommend to all looking.

Weekend Mountain Getaway

This was a last minute getaway for 3 couples. The lodge was perfect. It has 4 very comfortable king suites all with bathrooms! The kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed mimosas and brunch at the large dining room table. The views were amazing. We were a little late in the leaf season but still had wonderful fall views. The lodge has great WiFi service. It is located halfway between Dillard, Highlands and Franklin. Within 20 minutes you can be shopping, hiking, fishing or sharing a delicious meal with friends. We hope to return for a repeat getaway!

Peaceful mountain home

Had a small family get together and this home was everything anyone would ever need. Beautiful home, well stocked and situated on a mountain side. We enjoyed the decks, patios every day. Plenty of room for all to be together or have their own area. Owner was a pleasure to work with. As with most mountain homes, there's a small drive to restuarants, etc. but the views that come with this are spectacular. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful Location and View

Our family stays in the extended Clayton/Dillard/Sky Valley, GA area every year. This was by far our favorite cabin for us as 4 adult couples. We loved having our own bathrooms for each room. We made this our home base and easily set out for day trips to Highlands, Cashiers, Clayton, etc. The home owner communicated wonderfully and our stay was perfect. We had all the linens, kitchen ware, and space we needed. Our favorite adventure by far was the tasting at Moonrise Distillery. The master distiller is phenomenal and the taste can't be beat. He made customers for life. We will stay here again! Thank you!

Thanksgiving 2015

We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving at this home. The owners have truly thought of everything...if you are wondering if they have something....they do!! Trust me!! The home is so spacious, we loved the huge kitchen, mattress warmers on every comfy bed, space heaters in the bathrooms, full size laundry, and the views of the mountains and the sunrise are just gorgeous! We highly recommend this home for large family vacations. It was a wonderful experience.
