"Interesting historic house, once a nurses home as it’s opposite a hospital! No reception, access via a door code sent to you by SMS on day of arrival. Except mine did not arrive. "The house was clean. There was no bath tub or shower. However, there was a 2 page letter on the table explaining how to hook up a garden hose on an open veranda. No thanks! The street that the house was on laid at an 80 degree angle and walking down to the bus stop was dangerous. Walking back up to the house was exhausting. Getting to the table in the yard that was in the ad was also dangerous due to the unleveled spray of huge rocks that you had to walk on and over to get to it. There was no...

"It was OK and reasonably comfortable for one overnight stay. The room was very cold, without apparent thermostat adjustment. The bathroom floor was very cold and my room was in an annex, not as in the advertised photo. It was quiet and the breakfast was good. Staff were very professional and extremely polite. "

"10 day visit around Norway staying in different places. Worst bathroom on trip. Shower was not built in, with only a shower curtain, which did not prevent water flooding the bathroom. Best breakfast on trip. The buffet was excellent, with a good variety of hot and cold food. Good, central location and relaxed atmosphere"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was under construction at the time but everything was very clean and quiet. The location could not be better being at the harbor - 1 minute walk to Foynhagen, great restaurants, and quick 15-minute walk either to Slottsfjellet or the train station. We will happily return."
