"Beautiful hotel, service, location, cleanliness, quality of food all excellent. A great ambience, we just had a family wedding here and the arrangements were perfect! "
"The hotel was conveniently located with nearby restaurants and the bus stop right outside. It was a 20 minute walk to the Valletta ferry or you could take the bus. The bus is €2 regardless of how far you go!
The hotel staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean and the rooftop pool had plenty of loungers.
The buffet breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen. Plenty of choice and always topped up during service.
We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back!"

"This might be a 5* hotel, but the staff? Easily 6*—and that’s me being modest. From the second we stepped in, Ash (probably not his real name—I wasn’t wearing my contacts) welcomed us like long-lost friends, upgraded us to a balcony room for free, and basically set the “wow” bar sky-high. Inside: personal welcome on the TV, complimentary wine and water (we don’t drink, but still—classy), perfectly cool air, fresh linens, beds like clouds, and blackout curtains that kept the sunrise at bay.
Pro tip: bring earplugs if you nap in the day—the air-con hums, and there’s some construction across the street until mid-2026. Nights are blissfully quiet, at the hotel- though further afield it’s a clubbing scene, far enough from the hotel so you can sleep peacefully Poolside? Heaven. Staff float over with offer of drinks so you can stay horizontal and happy without lifting more than an eyebrow.Sure, the rooms could use more charging sockets and a little tech facelift, but with service like this, who’s counting plugs? Breakfast is the real showstopper: a spread so glorious you might weep—flaky pastries, figs, fruits, cheeses, cereals, local treats, full English (yes, veggie sausages!), fresh juices, honeycomb, and the best omelet of my life—offered personally by the chef. Venita made breakfast seating effortless.
This isn’t just a hotel—it’s proof that people make the place. I’d come back here for the staff alone, and wish I could’ve left more than just a “thank you” when we said goodbye."
"
From the moment we booked, the hotel was in touch, making sure they had everything they needed for our stay. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff were welcoming from the first hello.
I had asked for a birthday surprise for my niece, and they made it happen perfectly — even tailoring it to meet our halal requirements. It’s those little touches that really make a difference.
The staff here are brilliant — friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to help. I’d definitely recommend using the hotel’s taxi service instead of Bolt or Uber. The cars are clean, spacious, and really comfortable. Our airport pickup driver, Omar, was polite and professional, making our arrival stress-free.
There was a small hiccup with our return transfer booking (caused by the hotel, not the taxi company), but Lucienne from the hotel sorted everything out. She suggested a better pick-up time, which meant I got an extra hour of sleep, and she got us to the airport in great time. She honestly saved the day.
The location is spot-on — walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, with easy access to explore more of Malta. Our room was modern, big, and spotless, with everything we needed to be comfortable.
We felt looked after from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in Malta.

"Delightful stay, very helpful and friendly staff from reception to breakfast staff.
Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice.
Rooftop pool was a great size with cosy sun beds/seating.

"We traveled to Malta from Texas and this is one of the nicest if not the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was immaculate, the view was heavenly, the staff is so incredibly helpful and courteous. We enjoyed the M Club and will definitely be doing that in our next stay with Marriott. I cannot say enough nice things about how lovely this experience was at the Malta Marriott. Thank you!"
"We just returned from our trip. Radisson golden sands is a lovely hotel. I had emailed them prior asking for us to stay in the middle tower but they were full and allowed us to change rooms the next day. We were in the sunset suite room first which we found quite dated and there was a smell in the kitchen area. We were then moved to the twilight tower which is much closer to the pool, restaurants and beach. This room was so much better. The staff were very accommodating and helpful especially Chetan. The only thing I would say is they don't have half board and not enough vegetarian selection in the main buffet restaurant in the evening. So eating at the italian or indian restaurant does get a bit repetitive. Another thing is that the hotel lacks daytime and evening entertainment. There was also not much music being played.Pool side food and drinks were good. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice. The beach is very close either access via stairs or lifts. Pool chairs at the beach or pool cannot be reserved which is good. So we didn't have to get up at a silly hour to get any. Any unattended towels get removed in 30 minutes but ours got removed in 5 minutes. My son noticed and luckily I managed to get the towels back and place them again otherwise we would have lost our chairs if I was 5 seconds late. This happened twice to us and I spoke to security as they were the ones who removed them. They did apologise but it is something to be aware of. Overall the hotel is excellent."
"Super location close to ferry services to Malta, bus transport, lovely swimming pool area and jacuzzis with excellent views of the harbour, super restaurants and above all very helpful staff not forgetting the Elemis Spa. "
"Perfectly located hotel for ferry trips/sightseeing tours, shops and restaurants. Excellent decor and comfortable suite. Brilliant air conditioning. Loved being able to sit on the balcony and take in the magnificent view from the fourteenth floor. Comfortable bed and spacious room, complete with fridge and effective sound proofing. Very attentive and helpful staff - from reception to the cleaners and restaurant staff. Great menu selection."
