"Excellent hotel all around. Very good Japanese style breakfast. Less than five minutes walk from Dogo Onsen station and less than a minute to Dogo Onsen itself. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Yukata are provided for your onsen visit. Tons of shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend it."

"A beautiful place for an overnight stay - clean, new and the futon bedding was very comfortable. The public bath was quiet and peaceful and we also enjoyed the private bath in our room. We had dinner in our room which was delicious. "

"Our room was spacious and clean, charming and comfortable with tatami floors, low beds, and lots of place to sit. In addition to pajamas, there were robes and outer robes for onsen visits, tabi socks and slippers. Our room had a private spring-fed tub looking out over the city and the historic onsen across the street. The area was quiet and we slept well. The included breakfast in the hotel restaurant was fantastic -- so many delicious options. And the rooftop hot bath was lovely, with amazing views. The staff was warm and helpful. Some parts of the hotel (the bathroom and tub area in our room, for example) could use a little renovation and freshening up, but overall it was a beautiful place to stay. You can get a tram quite near the hotel that takes you to the castle, at the foot of which is a great area with shops and restaurants."
