"Basic motel style but no twin rooms, the price at the place was 600baht for a single and 1200 for a double so we asked to change to 2 singles, which caused mayhem and we kept being put on the phone to someone who spoke English but still said we’d have to pay extra, eventually the lady took us to a suitable room but no top sheets and the bedcover was filthy. The shower was great though and bathroom clean, no bedside lights."
"Absolutely amazing property and a perfect size for 3 of us (it does fit more). The owner is really lovely and very helpful. Nice relaxing area, brilliant views and sounds of the wildlife. The area would be better with a car but its accessible by grab too which is how we managed it as a family of three :D A microwave in the room would be a really good addition. We were very happy with our stay. We will be back next year. Thank you xx"
"We recently got back from a 6 week trip to Thailand and Cambodia. The Burn Resort, just outside Chiang Rai, stood out as the nicest place we stayed in Northern Thailand. It is an absolute hidden gem! We stayed a couple nights at another hotel in Chiang Rai proper (convenient but meh) and then a couple nights here and so glad we did! Our villa and the grounds are gorgeous! The staff and the food were wonderful. It is a bit out of the way, so not the spot if you are short on time and want to...
"We absolutely loved our stay at the LAVANDA in Chiang Rai. We’ve travelled through 6 cities and this was one of our favourite stays! Staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend "
"This place was nothing like what was shown in its ad. It was highly overpriced for the accommodations. I cannot even begin to list all the negative things about this place.
From ready no the prior reviews on this place, I doubt this review will be posted. "
"The room had two empty bottles of beer when we checked in. The staff were very good in every way, but the duvets do not have a cover, just a sheet under and a sheet over meaning during our sleep; we would touch the uncovered dirty duvet surface which many many others had touched during their sleep! The hotel needs to put the duvet in an entire case sheeting and then zip the bottom. When we requested this, the staff who are in NO way to blame were apologetic and said they did not have proper...
"A very enjoyable stay in an excellent hotel with beautiful gardens and superb staff.I thoroughly reccommend the place and will return when I am next in Chiang Rai. It is a little way outside town but when using the grab taxi app on my phone it only costs about 60- to seventy Baht to the clock tower in the city centre."
"We booked this last minute and were so glad we did! Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Our room was very large, clean, and comfortable. The room property was beautiful and quiet. As a bonus, breakfast was included and was delicious with generous portions from a preset menu. Additional meals at the cafe were good and affordable and the coffee (like evening else) far exceeded my expectations."

"The staff and hotel were lovely. The room was clean and the pool was a beautiful addition. The property was quiet and spa-like being slightly away from the town center. That being said, I wish it was slightly closer to town and more walkable. That being said, Grab was easy to access and the staff was available and attentive to any requests."
