"Our recent staycation in Annagary, Donegal, was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled along the stunning shoreline, the house provided the perfect winter escape for our family over a long weekend. Despite a storm rolling through, the cozy atmosphere of the house made it feel like a true haven.The house itself exceeded our expectations. It was more than adequate in size, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind without feeling crowded. The amenities were fantastic – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable living spaces, every detail was thoughtfully provided to ensure a comfortable stay.What truly made this location special was its proximity to the shore. Waking up to the sound of waves and stepping outside to take in the breathtaking coastal views was an absolute treat. Even during the stormy weather, the charm of Annagary and its rugged beauty shone through.This staycation was a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Whether it was cozying up indoors with the family or braving the elements to explore the surrounding area, we felt completely at home. "This is a perfect location - right on the Diamond. Parking is available nearby (metered spaces you can pay for 9 hours at a time). The pool and gym are a huge plus. The dinner and breakfast we had there were very good. There may be wheelchair accessible rooms but the one we had was not (we didn't request one, just an FYI for guests) - although there was a lift there were also stairs between the lift and our room. "

"Property is beautiful and positioned well for visits along the Wild Atlantic Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems. We had a bit of a delay in receiving texts so it took a bit. Once we had it sorted everything was fine. Absolutely comfy beds and lots of space. There were only three of us so we only used two out of the four bedrooms. All were lovely and we could easily have had two more couples along and no one would have felt like they got the bad bedroom. Views from the house are gorgeous. "

"Beautiful cottage, we were here during Darragh but it was warm and comfortable . Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. But it was wonderful staying here, you can’t go wrong especially if you have a large group with all the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again "

"Very warm and friendly welcome. Check in was very easy. Room was very clean, comfortable, and warm. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very, very good - highly recommend their fish dishes. This is a gem of a hotel and we will definitely stay here again. Very convenient to Donegal airport (Carrickfinn). Compliments to all the staff members we interacted with - very professional and friendly."
