"Great location, great apartment everything you need you. But did find the permanent resident next door to be very watchful of our movements and speaking to my children unnecessary as asking where my children had been when returning and going into the pool and telling them what to do and making gesture to be quiet by raising finger to mouth (my children did follow pool rules, hosing sand off prior/swimming within hours) and were respectful of those around them. "

"We loved staying at Stephen’s farm. Stephen and his family were very welcoming and accommodating. Our children really loved it and we all enjoyed every moment. We enjoyed seeing all of the animals.The baby lambs and goats were so cute. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. It was one of our best holidays! "We arrived to to a dark, cluttered smelling flat. The windows and front door have no fly screens so opening them was not an option, unless you like midgee and mosquito bites. The place was packed full of furniture so there was no space to move. Dead cockroaches decorated available surfaces. The outdoor back area was full of cobwebs and leaf matter and the yelping puppy next door completed the ambience. The bedroom fan didn’t work and there was no aircon. "This apartment is exactly as pictured. It's spacious and overlooks the beautiful Shelly Beach. It's only a stone throw (literally) from the sand. On site parking is easy, and the host (real estate agent) was very responsive. Unfortunately aspects of the apartment are showing their age, which is why I've offered a lower rating than normal. The TV was in desperate need of replacing (picture was terrible). Located a 5 minute drive outside of Ballina suited us. Lennox Head is stunning nearby town...

"In advertised description of the unit was stated: All linen is supplied including sheets, bath towels, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels. And again : General • Linens provided It was very inconvenient and disappointing for family four to arriving in the late afternoon just to find NO linen or any towels. Unit is next door to the petrol station."

"Bunk bed had no safety rail therefore mattress had to be placed on floor. Trundle bed was not suitable to sleep on. No ceiling fans, only 2 table top fans. Smelt damp, needs some TLC"
