Great place

Dover stay

First, we did not know that this property is on the hill side where there is no access to any public transportation including taxi. Although there is supermarket nearby but we have walk downhill and uphill. We were unlucky that the property was affected by the storm that all the piping was backed filled into the kitchen and bath room with one inch of flooding with water. We have contacted the owner for some settlement but so far there is no news for the past two weeks. The property is under renovation but not completed. The facility provided is minimal and correspondence is poor. They even provided the wrong code for accessing the building when we arrived.

Great Place

The home is great. Good location and very comfortable. Paul is an excellent and responsive host. We had a great and enjoyable time there. The bathroom and toilet is on the first floor which may be a concern. We would stay there again.

Dover prep for a cruise

We planned 3 nights in Dover in preparation for a cruise. Paul's house was perfect for us. The local market was very convenient and helpful. Trains to Canterbury and London for day trips were very easy to get to and use. Paul was very helpful with our checkin.

needs work

overall cleaniness wasnt that good, shower had soap scum and mould , one towel for 24 hours, beds werent made an not enough sheets. Some cupboards in kitchen smelt of mould, backyard was a bit messy and could benefit from a tidy up , no refuse bin. no kitchen sink plug.

Dover visit

Overall had a lovely stay. Checkin wasn't great. House was nice, but two much old food in cupboards. Shower attachment broke.

Aufenthalt war ok aber diese gegen gefällt mir gar nicht überall fliegt Müll draußen,Paul war sehr nett und hilfsbereit bei der objekt gibt zwei große Mängel von diese Preis Wasser drücke ist sehr niedrig kann Mann kaum duschen Wasserhahn undicht im Bad Bereich,,, in dem Wohnung überall spinnen netz kann Mann für diese Preis ein Tag vorher eine Putz Frau bestellen und gründlich reinigen lassen Mit freundlichen Grüßen Schneider

Would stay again

My friend and I wanted a place to be before going on a cruise. This place was exactly what we needed. The house was clean and the host was great in making sure we had what we needed. It was easy to get a taxi to take us to the castle or the coast.

Lovely holiday

We really enjoyed the holiday in the property . Paul the property owner was very kind and very friendly with us . The property by itself was lovely and suitable for my wife and the 2 kids , with all the adequate facilities ; we enjoyed it. The Neighborhood was great ; and we were close to some nice place to visit as tourists, lovely restaurants and shops . We really looking forward to come back next year . Kind regards Christian

Great place for family holiday

We had a great stay. Perfect location to explore the Dover area. White cliffs and Castle a must. Deal, Broadstairs and St Margarets worth a visit. Clean house. Much bigger than pics show. We are a family of 5. 3 children ranging 3- 8 years. Plenty of room for us. Paul a great host. Many thanks

Great facilities and friendly host

The house has everything that you need for a stay in the Dover area. There is plenty of room to relax after a long day sightseeing. The host Paul is friendly and helpful making the check in and check out simple and straight forward

Fitting accommodation

This was a good location for what we had planned to do on our short holiday to Dover. We wanted to visit Dover Castle, hike the White Cliffs and explore the surround area. Our family of six fit well; we had 4 children ranging from 2-14 years old. The check-in and check out process was very simple. We also were happy to find several grocery stores close by to stock up. We enjoyed our stay here.
