"Had an absolutely amazing time. The room was clean and the shower was good. plenty of instant hot water. The staff were really friendly and in the heatwave our rooms were nice and cool. If you're looking for room service it is not that kind of establishment but for clean, simple, natural fun on the beach, this was truly wonderful. thank you!"

"The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. A particularly nice touch was a selection of chocolates in the bedroom. Would certainly recommend...

"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"A lovely, easy decorated house with all amenities, plenty of space with close proximity to shops, beaches and restaurants. Very modern and comfortable and even though we could not really talk (French - English) with each other, it was well documented and there was no need to converse. "Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."
