"The house was very comfortable and the location perfect for a Sierra Buttes getaway; we were there for the change of seasons and the first snow. House warmed up perfectly using the wood stove. We’ll be back!"

"Very nice place. Had all the things we needed. Did not have air conditioning so it was a bit hot. Was not able to get property to text or call me back with check in instructions and key code so I had to continually call u til I found someone to help me. But other than that is was a good stay"

"My wife and I loved our stay here. The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the front deck was very relaxing with the stream flowing right in front. We spent most of our time out exploring, there is so much to do in this area. The hike to the top of the lookout tower was amazing (best to drive up thru Bassets and then towards Packer Lake so that you don't have to drive up the rough unpaved road from Sierra City). "Wonderful weekend+ in Graeagle! We had a very nice time at the property, weather we perfect, all things worked and garage space was a bonus to store mtn bikes. The bedrooms were nicely decorated, the kitchen was clean and well stocked and the living spaces/dining area were well done. Lighting on the deck was nice touch too. Beautiful house and area

"The house and property are beautiful and perfectly located. Deer and wild turkeys came right to the house. The Yuba river is at the end of the road you drive up on, you just gotta keep driving even when you hit the narrow dirt road. We went for Grass Valley but fell in love with Nevada City. Papa Bear was much bigger than we needed but we love space, and it had plenty of it. We got to sit on the backyard porch and watch the deer. You are in the deep woods, yet only about 3 miles away or so from Nevada City. It was perfect."
