"The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!"

"Location d’une grande propreté, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. Le tout dans un environnement calme et apaisant : un terrain immense et surtout une piscine couverte, toujours à bonne température. Egalement un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. "

"Two level accomodation - kitchen & leisure areas on ground floor & sleeping upstairs. Lots of space to enjoy and relax. Fully equipped kitchen if you wish to self cater. Very close to restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets and other services. It was a good base to explore the many areas of Burgundy."

"We had a very nice family get together in this spacious and beautiful house and garden. The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. We would certainly recommend it to other families."

"There were a number of broken items at the property, outdoor chairs, sun bed, table, glass porch area. Both showers drained very poorly- one was incredibly blocked & we had to clean this out. The strict rules for the property- all breakages would be 30 Euros, felt unfair due to the already damaged furniture in arrival. We certainly left the house in a cleaner state than when we arrived too. The house itself was a large beautiful property, just needed a bit of TLC"

"Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille cet été aux Marchaisons, merci Sophie!. Nous avons apprécié que la propriété soit au calme, et en même temps à proximité de villages alentours. La maison était parfaite pour notre séjour, un très grand nombre de chambres, de l'espace intérieur (joliment aménagé) comme extérieur qui a permis à nos enfants de se défouler entre le jardin et la piscine. Nous y avons de beaux souvenirs, merci. Nous reviendrons volontiers, je recommande!"

"Our family of 4 loved this stay. Traveling with 2 teenagers; it can sometimes be difficult to find the space everyone wants. This house was perfect for us and our needs. Stephanie and Frank were very kind and very easy to communicate with. We only wish we could’ve spent more time there…hopefully some day we will be able to return. "

"Like the first time a week ago we again liked the apartment very much. Everything new, well equipped, quit place though close to center and a private secluded parking. Our dog felt at home, too."
