The Lake
Lotus Lake is 246 acres with a max depth of 15 ft. It is fine for leisurely sports such as kayaking, canoeing, or paddleboarding, and is gorgeous viewing from the cabin deck. There is a public boat launch, however the lake is not for swimming or fishing.

The Space
With 2,494 sq ft of finished cabin, your group will have plenty of space to spread out. The lodge has 4 bedrooms (1 windowless) and 2.5 bathrooms with in-floor heating on the main level, a beautifully updated kitchen including stainless steel appliances, and a large stone wood-burning fireplace at the center of the cabin. Firewood can be purchased at any nearby gas station.

The top floor includes the master, with breathtaking views out your walk-out balcony of Lotus Lake, and a large updated private bathroom. Also upstairs is a loft with extra sleeping space for the kids.

The main level showcases the gorgeous white cedar logs, with the large stone wood-burning fireplace at its center. The kitchen was recently updated including modern stainless steel appliances, and all the cooking amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Off the main level is a grand deck you can grill on while enjoying your view looking out over Lotus Lake, and stairs taking you down to the firepit. Don't overlook the expansive front porch, it is a perfect spot for morning coffee and conversation.

Downstairs you'll find a family room with PS4 set-up for the kids with movies or games after a long day skiing at Trollhaugen or canoeing down the St. Croix River. Two bedrooms with full-sized beds are on each side of the family room, as well as a full bath. A bunkroom provides overflow sleeping if needed, or a place for kids to hideout.

There is a 3 car detached garage, guests may use one of the stalls for parking.

MAXIMIUM 6 ADULTS and 10 people total. 3 vehicles max.

**PLEASE NO large groups of adults or parties, incl. bachelor/bachelorette parties. We encourage families with children, small groups of friends, or ladies' weekends. But if you are coming to party, this is not your place. Thank you for understanding!

Winter Activities
There is nothing cozier than watching the snow fall outside of a beautiful Wisconsin log cabin, sitting by a wood-burning fire with a glass of wine, gathering with friends and family after a long day skiing at Trollhaugen.
Bring your snowmobiles and enjoy the nearby state trails.
**Please note: The driveway is gravel and at an incline, which can get slippery in winter, so should have 4WD and good tires.

Summer Activities:
Trollhaugen Adventure Park & Zipline, Wild Mountain waterpark, Dancing Dragonfly & Deer Lake Wineries, Train ride in Osceola, kayak or canoe down the St. Croix River, shop antiques in St. Croix Falls, take a paddleboat ride in Taylor's Falls, or bring the kids to Fawn-Doe-Rosa wildlife educational park.

Please note that due to the proximity to the Osceola Rod & Gun Club, you may occasionally hear shooting in the distance.

Beautiful home on Lotus Lake with so much to do in the area
Our family of four greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home, which had everything we needed to feel comfortable and cozy while also having so much to appreciate outdoors. The location is very close to lots of beautiful hiking trails and sightseeing as well as the towns of St. Croix Falls, Taylor's Falls, and Osceola, with lots of shops, restaurants, and things to do. We stayed there in the early spring, but lucked out with some great weather so we could enjoy a fire in the outdoor fire pit by the lake, and grilled each night on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. We also loved the indoor fireplace and large living room (and downstairs family room) for plenty of games and cozy conversation. We even were able to enjoy horseshoes outside and foosball in the garage. Communication with the host was easy and responsive, and our entire experience was top notch. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved staying here the pictures didn't do it justice. We absolutely loved everything about this place but what put it over the top for my kids was in the in floor heating. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay some time in the area.

Wonderful place for skiing and time with friends
We stayed at the Lodge at Lotus Lake to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday with family friends and our kids. We went skiing at Wild Mountain on Saturday, and Trollhaugen Ski Area on Sunday. Everything was so close. The house was perfect for big groups and the space was so inviting with Bluetooth speakers, extra linens, and even board games and books that were appropriate for all ages, including my 3-year-old. We are hoping to come back in the summer as well.

Quiet Getaway close to Area Attractions
We stayed at the Lotus Lake Lodge at the end of July and had a blast! The property is very quiet (aside from the local gun range noises) and close to everything in the area. Very kid friendly and family-oriented attractions within a short drive! The kids enjoyed kayaking, seeing wildlife, exploring and playing some of the vintage arcade games at the house. Only bummer for us was that we could not swim or fish in the lake. The house was very clean and the hosts were quick on communication. Would come back again!

Lovely Mother’s Day weekend
Spacious, gorgeous remodel, fun canoeing. Only problem is we told my 4 year old granddaughter that we were going to a “cabin.” How will we ever stay at a state park cabin again? We are trying to get her to call it a “lake house” instead of a cabin. Awesome hosts. Soft sheets, comfortable beds, giant garage, fun games, toasty fire place. Hope to return!

Amazing time skiing, hiking, cooking, games and generally carrying on with family. The heated floors cozy up the place quickly. We loved the beds, bidets and eagle sightings. Great space to gather. Definitely needed 4WD to get out during an ice storm. We’re already talking about next year.

Perfect lake cabin for a getaway!
We were thrilled to find this gem for a winter getaway for our family! The cabin is exactly what's pictured and the beds are comfortable - which is rare. We made every meal in the kitchen, snowshoed during the day, and played games in the evening. Amber responded to my messages quickly and was very helpful. Everything was perfect and you won't be disappointed!

The cabin in WI.
Everything was very nice and clean at the cabin. The initial entry was so simple and there were enough supplies in the kitchen cupboards to cook with. For our family of single adults, twin beds in the bedrooms would be better than Doubles/Queens, but we made it work. All in all we had a fun time and a great experience while on vacation in Dresser, WI.
