The hotel itself is nice, updated, and clean; but is quite far from any shopping and restaurants. The surrounding neighborhood is dirty, though it felt safe enough. The check in process is very slow and tedious, and I felt a bit uncomfortable that they ask very personal information, including birthdays, driver license and passport numbers, addresses, etc. Also, the breakfast selection is very limited and also just strange. No one wants charcuterie for breakfast. Where’s the eggs? Beans? A traditional Irish/ English breakfast would have sufficed, so I recommend skipping and walking a few blocks to go somewhere else. Definitely was not worth the money. But like I said, the room itself was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is relatively new so all the amenities were spot on. But it was the staff that made the stay the best: they were helpful, responsive, and attentive. Also the breakfast bar was great.

I could not have asked for a better stay. This place was impeccably clean which is huge for us. The staff were amazing! Not one bad experience with any of them. We were given drink vouchers for going green which was appreciated. The fire alarm going of 2 nights inca row was alarming for sure but again we were compensated witha drink voucher.

The room was nice, renovated and discussed. But air conditioning was not working. In three days of my stay nothing was done about it and no apology was offered or rebate. I paid for the room with air conditioning . They also had alarm at 7 am that ruined my day. I had to jeep the window opened and was woke up by done garage loud activities at 5,40 am! Stuff to trainee to help clients, my room was never cleaned. Apparently, they sending some Ecco support program. But nobody explained me that it means I will be leaving in a filthy room for three days. Will not come back will not recommend .

DO NOT STAY HERE - BUGS!! My friend and I recently stayed here while visiting Dublin and we had the absolute worst time. On our first night, we found one bug and thought nothing of it. On our second/last night, we found so many more crawling all over the floor and nearby pillow. We notified a staff member immediately and they then moved us to a new room after reprimanding us for not telling them when we only saw one bug the night before. We went to the new room and found bugs in that room as well and took video to show staff. We were then switched to a third room. At this time, a staff member came with us to look in the room. We found more bugs on the bed, as confirmed by the staff member. We, along with the staff member, also confirmed that the bugs were not coming from our suitcases or other belongings. We were then moved to a fourth and final room, multiple floors up, in which we found no bugs. After this major inconvenience, we were PROMISED A FULL REFUND for our stay as the bugs were seen and confirmed by the staff member as an INFESTATION. The staff member said they would contact the hotel manager personally so this could be dealt with before we checked out early the next morning. This was NOT the case when we talked to the manager. He was incredibly rude to us and told us he didn’t know the situation and therefore couldn’t help us. After reaching out to the hotel multiple times after our stay we still HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PROMISED REFUND. It has been so disappointing.

Brand new hotel, but on a sketchy-looking street with graffiti and strewn garbage around. Easy to walk to Dublin tourist-friendly areas. Room was kind of sterile looking, not super comfortable. Weird breakfast, not worth 18 Euros per person, odd array of items, would have preferred much less variety and more familiar breakfast foods. Check in process took too long, "contactless" but each guest has to answer a bunch of questions on touch pad and still required help of desk staff. Very little information given at check in about breakfast etc, no information in room about anything. No way to contact staff except at the busy reception desk in person. To be fair, these were my gripes, my partner was happier with the place than I was.

On arrival there were touch pad screens for check in but when I went to use one of them the staff member at the desk abruptly told me to wait without a warm greeting. Room was nice enough but the two duvets were arranged quite strangely across bed Bed was very comfy Hot water for tea in galley on our floor was broken and system overly elaborate (felt like they were trying too hard to be chic/cool) I reported the fault to the front desk but next day still broken so had to traipse to lower floor again to get hot drinks. Was fixed the next day. First day after cleaning our door card was removed from the room meaning another trip to the desk. Nice enough place to stay but service could improve

Lovely stay for a few nights in Dublin. Clean, cozy room. Comfy bed. Good shower. Appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee, and free drink if you opted not to have your room cleaned daily. Walkable to main sights of Dublin, approx. 20 - 30 minutes max. Easy to find and good communication.

Although The Ruby Molly is on an unattractive street, it is a great hotel in a convenient location for access to the main streets in Dublin. This hotel is clean and comfortable and provides an excellent breakfast

Very intrusive and lengthy check-in process. Asks a lot of irrelevant and private information like place of birth, and reasons about each travelers. There is always a long line infront of check-in counter. Nobody wants to answer 20 questions to get a room after a long travel. The place is not quite. Would not recommend Ruby Molly Hotels.

Check in was horrendous. We requested an early check in and received an email with the standard "we'll see what we can do but check in is at 3 pm". No problem, we arrived at 10: 30 am and the answer was the same so no big deal...we asked them to hold our bags till 3pm. At 3 pm when we attempted to check in we were told that the room is not ready and they couldn't say when it will be. Based on the number of other clients who were trying to check in at the same time it appeared that most rooms were not ready as well. Really disappointed with the wait till 4 pm and no attempt to "compensate" for our time lost sitting and waiting in the lobby. By the way, I had to keep checking the front desk for updates, they weren't providing any...

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at The Ruby Molly. However, there is no overnight parking by the hotel which made this extremely inconvenient. Also, the downtown area is a 10min walk away leaving the immediate area around the hotel pretty vacant of anything to do. It’s mostly factories and shipping areas nearby. Id definitely return here, but I would make arrangements ahead of time for parking.

The property has an industrial feel to it but maybe just a little to much!? Bare concrete ceilings in the bedrooms spoilt the lovely crisp, clean room, all that would be needed is a coat of white paint to take the edge off the basicness of it! The corridors, lift areas etc have all pipework and workings exposed & again maybe a little too basic effect. Overall the place was nice, clean and welcoming, the reception/bar are was lovely & the staff were most welcoming and helpful.
