It smelled like cigarettes. The sheets were dirty. The TV didn't work. Shower water stunk and low pressure water. Not much food choices,hot tub and pool were out of service . We were rushed to check out!

My stay was fine. The accommodations met my needs and I felt the rate was a decent value. My only complaints were very limited choices for breakfast, namely no protein options. Even some yogurt or boiled eggs would make a big difference. The other complaint was that the man who checked me in could not speak English. Fortunately, I had made my reservation and paid through Expedia, so he only had to give me my room/key.

The rooms were very clean and very spacious. We stayed for one night, and we are ending staying for 4. The staff is very friendly and courteous, and they accommodate us for our dog, too. They are pet friendly and are a place where we will be back. Highly recommend!!!

We arrived late (2:30am) and they aloud us an hour later checkout which was amazing. The hotel lobby was very home feeling, entire hotel was clean with very respectful and accommodating staff members. For being from Ohio and booking this hotel without knowing the area they provided a great stay for us!

When you walk in the area looks nice and cozy. We stayed in the king suite. There was no coffee pot in the room but had a little kitchenette. The table in the little kitchenette area had half of the leg chewed off. Clearly dogs are allowed and someone im sure had to pay for it but they never replaced it just kept the extra cash . The drawers below the tv were all broke. One of the cupboards was busted. It just looks trashy. For 200 dollars a night i would have expected at least furniture that didnt look like it was pulled out of a dumpster.

The pool is closed and found out that it has been for a few years. American in always has a great pool, but not here. Coffee was like colored water. Should not be called coffee

We stayed in the whirpool suite. It was only $168 per night which was very reasonable and it was very spacious. We might not have been able to figure it out, but the jets didn't work on the jacuzzi tub but it was SO nice to relax in the big tub! Definitely recommend this place! Friendly front desk staff! Only stayed one night but will be back with my kids for longer

We always stay at this hotel when we come to Dubuque because it is a great place at a reasonable price. The breakfast is always good.
