Great location, beautiful view, convenient location near shops and restaurants and right on the beach. Cons: pricey after you have to pay $45 per day for parking plus additional fairly resort feee. 6 days stay between parking and fees costed around $800 on top of what the hotel costed me. Other than that if would say it was a great choice of a hotel, I would come back again

I usually have an amazing and relaxing experience at the W. This time started the same way except, starting the morning after my first night, there was a very loud truck in front of the hotel. It was making a constant loud running noise that disturbed my rest significantly. In addition to this, one evening I returned to a fire truck/police scene outside the hotel because a room caught on fire. This left me unable to access the hotel just prior to dinner plans. The hotel manager acted like she didn’t know what noise I was talking about when you could clearly hear the humming sound from the truck. She offered to comp the $87/night resort fee despite this being a >$5k spend including my stay and spa treatments. I was grateful but underwhelmed. I would have hoped for better compensation given the circumstances.

I wouldn’t go back here. Although nice extremely expensive. Drinks, food way over priced $$$$
