"No towel service, crazy small room that they crammed a shower, washer, and toilet. You had to step around/squeeze by the washer to get to the toilet. You’re practically standing in the shower when using the sink. Water everywhere on floor. Ridiculous service in fixing the leak. We actually checked out after one night out of the 5 scheduled days. All they said was thank you, no sorry for the inconvenience. Plus tv has no channels. Nothing. Not even local. "

"THis unit is no longer part of VRBO. The phone number and email to the host is not correct. Had to pay out of pocket for the stay. Once we get back we will do a charge back. We spent over 8 hours trying to get this worked out, NOTHING NO SUPPORT. I have multiple case numbers with VRBO. Expedia said they cant help we have to contact VRBO....I booked through EXPEDIA, you should take some responsibility....."

"Hassaram Courtyard provide spacious rooms and sufficient necessities such as cookware and place for drying clothes, so we could rest and work properly in the accommodations. The host was very passionate and helpful. She tried her best to make our trip smooth. It was sad that we could not stay there longer for our further trip in Dumaguete, which also made us realize how wonderful Hassaram Courtyard. Will definitely choose to stay there next time or recommend to friends! "

"The property is in a good position for Sibulan Airport and shopping and eating at Robinsons mall. Although the property could do with a little touch up with a coat of paint, it was generally in very good condition and Staff were very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was good value for money. "My ETA was well past the last check in, but a member of staff was kind enough to stay behind. The dorm had 4 bunkbeds, an AC unit and a fan. The AC and fan worked well. Each guest was given a towel and a locker big enough to hold a large backpack. The bed had an Asian style firm mattress and a thin sheet, a private light, 2 sockets and a small shelf. Common areas include a kitchen area, dining/working area with breakfast tables and high chairs, and another lounge area by the reception. There's no AC in the common areas, although the areas were open with nettings to restrict insects, so at least there was air circulating. I never got bitten while in the common area. There are several toilet/bathrooms. These were always clean whenever I used them. The water pressure is okay, good enough and works. There's not much ventilation in the shower rooms though. There is Wifi throughout the property and it works well. Location wise, the hostel is roughly between the airport and town. it's about 15 minutes walk to the port and 20 to the centre of Dumaguete. There is a convenience store close by and several restaurants too. At night, the area is quiet, but you can hear the traffic in the morning. The hostel employ staff who are hard of hearing, so kudos for that. The communication can be slower, but please be kind and patient. The staff work hard cleaning several times a day. Overall, I had an excellent stay. The hostel and facilities are basic, but clean and comfortable."
