"We stayed over thanksgiving and was disappointed with the “stocked” kitchen as there was no baking dishes and not enough silverware for our family. There was also only bath towels for our party of 6. So we had to go out and buy kitchen items and towels. We did like the set up of the home. It was spacious and in a quiet neighborhood close to base. We would consider staying here again we would just know we need to bring our own stuff and be better prepared with our family of 6. "

I wish there were more than four plates, bowls, etc since it felt like you had to wash them after each use. The second bed is in the basement area down the spiral staircase, and not super private."

"The owner was able to accommodate my request of having a gathering of friends on the holiday weekend. Communication was good as he was accessible. Basement not included so be mindful for complete privacy you’ll have to pay more. "We loved the property and the location, 5 minutes away from Wegmans(!) and from the turnpike. Easy to get to and easy to get back on the road. Way better than a hotel for sure. Nice fenced in yard for a dog (watch out for the neighbors dog though, he's a sneaky one), which backs up to a public path which was perfect for a morning walk. If I find myself traveling through the DC area again, I'll be staying here if it's available.."
