The only shame is that you can't see the view when the deck doors are closed, but we were able to get out on the deck even in the chilly weather! Good stack of firewood which was fantastic."

However the email that arrived just prior to check-in that advised the use of earplugs to block the sound of traffic and trains…well it was good advice, but arrived a little too late. "We booked the house for my birthday. My plan was to relax and have some quality time with family and our two dogs. The location is spectacular and the house was warm, clean and very thoughtfully appointed. The amenities were great, from stove to coffee machine. The one and only disappointment was the tv, but who needs a tv being in such a beautiful spot! A huge bonus point I want to give for friendliness, responsiveness and great communication with the owner/manager! Well done! We’ll be back!"

" We really enjoyed our stay at Cloud 9. The location could not be better with direct beach access and fantastic views. The house is very cool with a eclectic art collection, well equipped kitchen and an amazing gin collection. Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more and would love to go back for a longer stay. "
