"Stayed in the older half of the property, room was still really nice and clean. Comfy bed and nice shower. Just stayed 1 night on a roadtrip, traveling solo, felt safe the whole time. Front desk staff was blah, forgot to write down or even tell me my room number, so had to go hack to get it once I realized it wasnt on my key envelope, security at casino was a bit of a jerk when I went the wrong way once. "We rented this beautiful home for my daughter's wedding weekend at the Allure. It was clean, well laid out, and extremely convenient to the venue. Kayla, the owner, was beyond wonderful. She was quick with her responses and helpful in providing suggestions to my inquiries. She always ended her responses by saying, "Let me know if there is anything else I can answer or do for you." The master bedroom made the perfect backdrop for pictures with my daughter's wedding dress and the jacuzzi was an unexpected reward after a long day of celebrating. This house has a wonderful back patio and enclosed patio with a swing. I just wish we would have had more time to enjoy it! My daughter's wedding was PERFECT and the icing on the cake for us was that the Waverly Retreat and Kayla were too! "

"The property is surrounded by nature and woods. It was clean and well-stocked. The beach is a 4 minute drive away and the wind keeps it from getting too hot there. There are lots of hiking trails close by, too. The WiFi was fast enough for my buddy and I to both game separately (we are very particular about internet speed, so this was a must). The host was very friendly and communicative, responding quickly to my inquiries. Will book again."

"We decided to take a last minute trip to Indian Dunes state/national park area with another couple. There were 4 adults and 4 kids, so we decided a 3 bedroom property would work for us. 1 bedroom for each couple and a bedroom for kids. However when we arrived, we quickly realized that this was actually a 2 bedroom cabin instead of a 3 bedroom cabin. The "3rd" bedroom has a small partial divider in the upstairs bedroom to divide the double bed from the other double bed and futon. This was VERY disappointing as now we had to put 2 of the children in the downstairs "game room." This game room had a door that would directly access the driveway. This is not ideal when you have young kids like ours. Now on top of this when we arrived at the cabin, the temperature was 83 degrees! They had a wifi thermostat, so at the very least they could have attempted to cool down the house before we arrived, but they made no such attempt. Several hours later, the temperature was not budging, so we contacted the rental management company. They stated they would get someone out there "as soon as they could." We ended up sleeping with the windows open in some of the rooms, because it was a cooler night, but extremely muggy. We made several attempts to contact the company and they never had it fixed the entire weekend. We were fortunate to have milder weather, but that is besides the point. They advertised AC, they should have reasonable AC. Among other issues there was mold in the coffee maker...."

"We needed room for 10, and close to the beaches at Indiana Dunes. This home delivered! You can tell the host paid attention to details to ensure the guests had what they needed to be comfortable and the beaches were a very short drive! Don't skip the outlet mall! They had great prices too!"

"We had a wonderful time. This huge home was very comfortable for everyone. We traveled with our 4 adults kids and their families. Each family had their own private area, plus there were common areas for all of us to gather. Great place."
