Walk or ride your bike into downtown Durango when you stay at this pristine two-bedroom townhouse, where you'll also enjoy a private patio, a beautiful interior, and easy access to several nearby hiking trails, restaurants, and shops.

Built in 2014, this bright and beautiful home sits just two miles north of downtown Durango, two blocks from the Animas Mountain Trailhead, and three blocks from an access point to the Animas River Trail. If you're looking to explore the surrounding mountains, you'll find Vallecito Lake only 20 miles away, as well as the ski slopes of Purgatory Resort 25 miles north.

Step inside the 1,500-square-foot living space to discover an open floorplan, hardwood floors, and comfortable furnishings. Take a bike ride along the Animas River and return home to find WiFi, a selection of books and DVDs, and a flatscreen cable TV.

When you're not sampling the fresh fish tacos at Zia Taqueria around the corner, you'll have use of a kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher to handle the clean-up. There is ample seating for six around the dining room table, as well as two extra stools at the bar.

And when the sun is shining in this charming western town, you'll have a private patio, outdoor furniture, and a gas grill for afternoon barbecues.

With two mountain view bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half-bath, this townhouse can sleep as many as five people. You'll have a beautiful queen bed in the light-filled primary bedroom, as well as a twin bed for your little one. The guest room has a queen-size bed, while the living room day bed converts into an extra-long twin.

Additional amenities include a private washer and dryer and sheltered garage parking for one car.

Whether you're planning a family vacation or a getaway with friends to beautiful Southwest Colorado, Durango is an ideal destination in every season. When you're not browsing the galleries downtown, take a day trip to Vallecito Lake, which offers ice fishing and Nordic skiing in the winter, as well as fishing and boating in the summer. You'll also be only 38 miles from Mesa Verde National Park, the site of the famous Anasazi cliff dwellings. And if you're in search of winter snow sports, look no further than Purgatory, which has 1,360 acres of wonderfully varied terrain.

Enjoy the timeless beauty of Colorado from the comfort of this brand new Durango home - book today!

This is everything you need in a place to stay in Durango. Great location (walkable), super comfy beds, really clean and easy check-in/out process. I will stay here anytime I go back to Durango. We enjoyed our stay here for a polar express weekend getaway. The one issue we had was a lot of beetles in the home.

Great place
Great location, I would stay there again. Close to all kind of restaurants. We walked out the door to a good hiking trail. Pretty house. We used the patio furniture pads for the dining room chairs.

Durango Townhome
We liked the location. We loved the layout of the home, bedrooms upstairs and living area on the main floor. It was nice to see the first snow of season from the front windows. The home was very well insulated and comfortable inside temperature with an outside temperature of 25 degrees. We would definitely rent this again.

Family trip
We have stayed in this property multiple times on family vacations to Durango. The home is beautiful inside and out. The location is great and the neighborhood is really charming. We could have used a few more towels for our group of 5 and we had trouble finding the grilling tools as they did not seem to be left in their box.

Wonderful house, slightly warm
Everything about the location, the house, the space, the kitchen, was great except for the air conditioning. The other reviews mentioned it was a bit warm and I thought we'd be able to handle it since we live in weather that's usually 100+ during the summer. We were able to tolerate it but it's definitely warm, even with the windows open at night at 50 degree lows. Aside from that, the house was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.

Very Nice Place
Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The home was very clean, quiet, comfortable, well-furnished, and well equipped. It is also in a good neighborhood only a few minutes’ drive from downtown Durango. However, there was one issue. When we arrived at the home at our established check-in time, there was a crew of workmen, along with their vehicles and equipment, installing solar panels on the roof. They did not complete their work for several hours and that was not particularly convenient. That was not the best way to create a good first impression. We would suggest to the owners of the property that they schedule non-emergency work like this to be done on days when guests are not staying at their property.

Nice place
The place in Durango was a nice place but not good value for a one night stay. The cleaning fee is high making our one night stay exorbitant. Additionally we were asked to clean dishes and laundry prior to our departure which seemed excessive. Additionally the room layout didn’t work for our situation where there was a twin bed in the master bedroom so one of our kids had to stay with us. Another twin was set up in the living room downstairs which didn’t work for us either. We definitely wouldn’t rent this place again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
Management is terrible!!
VRBO knew ahead of our Check in that the AC had gone out. They did absolutely nothing to get it repaired, just tried to pretend it was no big deal and offered no compensation for our ruined vacation. It was in the 90’s and we were absolutely miserable! Called everyday and never got the help promised. House was full of ants and roaches too. VRBO is a terrible company who does nothing to help people. No one ever called us. No one tried to help.
