"Worst place I ever stayed, it was a empty unsafe shell. No bedding pillow TV network nothing to entertain, couldn't even sleep. Even club house was like a dead shell. I wouldn't even go back if they offer me money. I checked out next day. It was completely unsafe. Nail was sticking out next to the bed. No response from anyone they are are useless. "My stay was for a single night but I wished I could have stayed longer. This is a lovely hotel and its location on the promenade made it absolutely perfect for my love of absea view and my rock collecting hobby. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Beeakfast was fantastic! The menu offered many options, and I was served quickly by the cheerful staff. I strongly recommend this hotel!"

A quality, historic hotel

"The Gwesty’r Marine Hotel is part of an older Victorian Era district. It shows its age at times, but the overall experience is outstanding. The people are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable except that it got pretty hot on the one really sunny day we had (which was unusual for November). If you are expecting a modern hotel with all the newest amenities, you will find more issues. If you want a great place to stay, within walking distance of the city center, and don’t mind some historical ambience, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant also has great choices for dinner."
