I think a bistro table and chairs on the covered deck would have been nice so we could enjoy the back yard in the morning and one of the longing chairs were broken so only one of us could enjoy the sunny days. I would certainly stay there again and hopefully they do some upgrading to accommodate the outdoor experience in a beautiful back yard setting...

"Air conditioning was awful. The rooms would turn off and the living room didn’t have it. The kitchen is just set up as a decoration. You can’t even use it. You have to use the back up kitchen they told us we broke a couple little arrangements which we never did. They just wanted to keep our deposit? I’ve been trying to call them back for the deposit and now they’re not responding back to me, really bad communication very upset "

Easy check in/check out, quiet neighborhood and the restaurant The Palapa that’s a block away from the house serves delicious food."

We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommended booking some time at Los Tunas if you want to get away from the tourist crowds. "This is the most unique stay I've ever had. It is a converted Hacienda and the rooms have names, not numbers. We stayed in Poppy, one of the large rooms on the main building. The ceilings must have been 18 feet tall and the rooms are gorgeous. There is no door between the main room and the restroom; only a curtain. The shower is enormous and beautiful, but the water pressure was low. The included breakfast was delicious, but this is in the countryside and there are critters flying around. It's also incredibly warm. There's no parking lot, only a grassy area. You have to leave the road on a side road to get here, so don't turn exactly when the GPS tells you unless you want to drive down a rocky hill. The air conditioner doesn't keep it cool to American standards. You can use the Jet mode to get a little more air out of it. I also travel with a little USB fan. There is a ceiling fan that helps a little. We would stay here again. Izamal is a lovely city. This is about 3 mile out of town. The staff were very friendly. I speak Spanish so I don't know how well they speak English. "

Amazing Stay

"Beautiful, elegant, clean and just an overall great experience. Mike and Rene are wonderful! So attentive to our needs. We had a lot more than we expected as far as amenities, the pictures don't do it justice! it's just a beautiful, and clean home with excellent care for guests, anything we needed, was easily accessible. The town and the people of Chabihau are wonderful and respectful. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to stay with a partner or family. Beautifully decorated and well thought of layout for everyone to feel comfortable. We were able to cook when we wanted or go out to eat. So comfortable! A special Thanks for Mike and Rene!"
