"I am disappointed by this rental process. I’ve enjoyed prior rentals that are Hosted by the Owner...as in the vrBO title. Vacasa is a management company, and they unfortunately knew nothing about the property except what was described on the site, and some of that was inaccurate. They couldn’t tell me what levels the bedrooms and bathrooms were on, or if any had en-suite bathrooms. They are not prompt responding to messaging, if they respond at all. Hours on the phone didn’t get me help or simple information. The online link to the rental agreement didn't work when I originally booked the property, so I included a message on the booking requesting a copy to review before the downpayment was put through. I was immediately charged for the VRBO share and the Vacasa charge was close behind. I never received a response to my message. VRBO was not able to help and referred me back to the host, Vacasa. After finally reaching Vacasa by phone I was told I had already signed the agreement I never saw, and I should log into their site to see the document linked to my reservation number. I have never had such poor customer service, especially when we encountered an issue during our stay! When the stove fuse blew while making supper and the box was in a locked room, the local person was so slow responding that I called Vacasa. We were told we'd have to wait until morning for maintenance. I will never rent another property that is "hosted by Vacasa"!"

"Great house for a large family vacation up north on a lake. Everyone had their own space but under one roof. The kitchen was amazing and had all utensils we needed. Bring your own seasonings and sharp knives. Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Had a great time cruising the chain of lakes on our pontoon (not included in rental, we brought our own.)"

"Property is nice, needs some maintenance. Fridge had cracked drawer and didn’t keep everything cool as it should, grill outside was dirty and fire pit area a mess. Dining table and chairs and sectional sofa needs to be replaced. Biggest issues is the management company, Vacasa, and their horrible communication! The cabin has no cell service and no land line so we couldn’t contact them from the cabin with a snowstorm approaching. We had to call their customer service number when we went into town and got a person in another state far away who didn’t help at all. Finally a local Vacasa contacted us but still didn’t solve all issues. We’ll never use them again."
