"We were staying for just one night to see Tikal. On arrival there was a friendly welcome and although we were early our room was ready. We were given a welcome drink which we really appreciated. The hotel is perfectly situated for seeing the ruins, and it takes around just 30 minutes to walk to the Grand Plaza. Don't forget to buy the entry tickets at the gate. The hotel has a beautiful reception area with plenty of seating, a games room which shows a film about Tikal, a bar and restaurant ( no booking required). The grounds are lush and beautiful and it's possible to see many birds and maybe even monkeys. We were happy with our room which had a luxury feel with very nice toiletries. It was a standard room with two double beds. It only had a fan but that was fine. The windows were open but with mosquito nets which meant we could hear the sounds of the jungle. The room was very clean. It had a pleasant outside deck. Dinner in the evening had plenty of choice, our starters and mains came very quickly. We were hungry so we didn't mind but it felt a little rushed. We had the squid and bean soup starters, and chicken and steak dishes for mains. All were very good, the steak in particular was expertly cooked. The breakfast the next morning was also very tasty. Staff were very efficient and pleasant throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as a base for visiting Tikal. "

"We loved everything about this small boutique resort hotel. Excellent food is served in the restaurant, great service from the staff. My only complaint is that Antonella the cute black kitty cat is way too trusting and follows the guests into the room --- someone is going to kidnap her and take her home (as a souvenir, hahaha). The property has a variety of room types and prices vary enough so it's affordable for the hippies and backpackers with children, yet there are some private suites and bungalows for a more upscale experience. The saddest part about coming here is having to leave this place!"

"A super peaceful stay, we loved everything. staff all so friendly and attentive, rooms are private and waking up to the sounds of the birds was magic. the pool and spa also created with a lot of thought. they arranged a private tour for us to one of the sites which was a highlight of our trip, and of course visiting monkey island was also a fun morning. and the museum is a must visit! a truly incredible collection of Mayan artifacts in perfect condition. this was truly a vacation and we will return one day!"

"The property is unbelievable! This is in an excellent location, very convenient for exploring Tikal. The lake side set up is beautiful with a dock and lounge area. They also provide boating transportation, kayaks, life jackets, basically anything you can need for the lake. There’s even a handicapped accessible elevator that can take you down to the lake if you have issues with steep steps. The pool side was awesome equipped with umbrellas and loungers. The restaurant served excellent food. The bar and drinks were amazing. The service was absolutely incredible, top notch. The room itself was nice with a working AC unit, ceiling fan, and mini fridge stocked. The bathroom was nice with a size-able shower with hot water. Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel. 100/10 rating. "

"I can’t say enough about this amazing location. I arranged the shuttle for $25 USD for round trip transportation and had to adjust the time due to a late arrival and they were very accommodating. It is within walking distance to Tikal which is very convenient especially after a long day of exploring. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The restaurant, bar and pool onsite are all exceptional. I used the shared bathrooms and showers and they were constantly attended to and very clean.
