"We love the chalet which is spacious and the cathedral ceiling made to room feel even bigger. We had a good night sleep. The was a wallaby in the front years and the sound of sea and the lovely penguins echoing in the starry sky was such a treat! The chalet is not new but very clean and the washing machine is a bonus! Minor point on the broken soap dish by the bath and no coffee for the encouraged me to go to the near by cafe, which is even better. Live the French influence of the eateries, I...

"The staff were wonderful- in all depts. The property is obviously going through some upgrades and renovations, as it is an older facility. But to be fair the price was very reasonable and reflected those challenging conditions. The location is excellent and very much served our purposes for an overnight stay during our east coast travels of Tassie. And to be clear, we can’t say enough about how warm, helpful and welcoming ALL the staff are."

"When we walked in the welcome was lovely the setting was nice and clean. Headed to the room was easy to follow and rooms were nicely kept and clean. Headed in to the bistro for dinner handed 2 menus that were different. Then went to the bar were 2 bar staffed looked at us without a word then walked away till another person can to take our order. "The motor inn was basic but very clean. The staff were very friendly & helpful. It’s very convenient to the historic site, just use your key to let yourself in through the gate. Nice restaurant on site as well. "
