Casa Tortuga Private Stay
It was very nice and private. Absolutely loved the variety of chickens! The view is very pretty and the pool was warm and crystal clear. We mostly were doing things around the island and having fun checking out the beaches. We were sad to leave!

Amazing house on a beautiful beach
We enjoyed our stay at this incredibly beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable house. The view was breathtaking. The pool was amazing. And the welcoming committee wasn’t too bad either (the local chickens.). We enjoyed feeding them every day. So glad we picked this house for our stay.

We absolutely loved the location of this house. It was very quiet and felt like your own private beach. The inside of the house was spotless and very clean. The outside of the house is lacking in maintenance. It could use some work. Overall the house is gorgeous but just needs less clutter and more work done to the outside.

Great Weekend Getaway
6 of us (3 couples) spent a long weekend at Casa Tortuga. The property was a great place to hang out and relax. The beach area, pool and gazebo were all well used, as were the kayaks and paddleboards. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything we needed.

Family Vacation
Casa Tortuga was exactly as pictured and described. It was the perfect place for us to stay with our 2 grown daughters/partners. Everyone had their own space and then large comfortable common areas both inside and out. The house was clean and well stocked. The pool was wonderful and the beach was well enjoyed. I would highly recommend it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome experience for my husband and I plus our two adult daughters and their guys. Just the right amount of space for everyone. We tried to see all the sights on Cayman, but by the end of the week everyone just wanted to hang at the house, being on the beach, hanging at the pool and chilling in the gazebo. Highly recommend!! Felt like we had the entire sound to ourselves.

Great Home, The Best Location
Basically a private beach home, only saw one or two people a day walking, otherwise complete privacy. Easy to get to Seven Mile Beach or Rum Point, best restaurants are east 5 minutes (Tukka). Manager let us stay longer for checkout which was very nice. The others reviews were accurate in that bedding and cleaning could use more upgrades but, that seems minor, the party was outside.

Relaxing Vacation
Casa Tortuga is a well kept villa with all the comforts of home. Our favor times were spent in the gazebo overlooking the beach and water. It is totally private but not to far from good restaurants. It delivered everything we wanted in our vacation. No other tourists, no crowded beach and just plain peace and quiet in a picturesque setting. We will differently go back.

Peaceful getaway
This beautiful gem in the East End had everything we needed for a relaxing and much needed 40th birthday getaway! Positioned between Rum Point and 7 mile beach it gave us the ability to enjoy the entire Cayman island instead of just one small portion of it. Ms Lisa the property manager was absolutely a gem, very easy to contact should we need her. At the end of the stay there was some confusion on my part where to drop of the property key, and she can met us at the airport to come get it. Would recommend this place to anyone needing that perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of their fast paced life!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place with amazing views, well stocked house with everything you need, kayak, paddle boards, snorkel equipment etc..and a well stocked kitchen. Large beach front area, very secluded and private beach. Air conditioning worked very well, internet was fast and the house overall nice. While there is so many positive things about Casa Tortuga, the only two negatives was the outdoor gas grill was nasty, dirty, disgusting and should be replaced. The other was a very noisy rooster that starts a very loud ****-doodle-do at 4:45 AM, like clock work every morning and continues throughout the day, stops around 7 PM. We used earplugs and did a lot of excursions, but there was times where it got to be annoying, (therefore I removed a star from the review). Overall, we would definitely stay at this property again if we return to the Cayman Islands.

Great villa, beautiful beach!
Casa Tortuga was perfect for my family of 4 - myself, my husband and our older teen daughters. We had plenty of space and the beach was gorgeous. Made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards. Recommend bringing snorkeling gear if you have it (the house did have enough for 2 people) because there is lots to see right off the beach. The location is great in that every part of the island is no more than a 40 minute drive, and it's quiet and peaceful. The only drawback was when we wanted to go out but didn't feel like driving - there really is nothing nearby. We didn't need much during our stay as everything was in order, but for the couple requests we did have, the caretaker and property manager were extremely responsive. Would definitely recommend Casa Tortuga.

Beautiful location
We traveled here with 2 other couple and it was amazing. The location of the property was fabulous. Quiet, serene, and the sunrises were amazing. The only issue we had was the communication with the Cayman Villas. We had no direction as to how to access the property. We called, left a message and never received a call back. We showed up at the property and Mitch (neighbor) showed us in and gave us a overview of the property. He was amazing.

Quiet Getaway
This house is on the quieter side of the island, the seclusion was nice. The water isn’t as tempting to swim in as the other side of the island, there is a lot of grass growing beneath the surface and a lot of seaweed washes up on shore, but it is great for kayaking and paddle boarding. The space inside was nice, plenty of rooms and parking. Basic seasonings and plenty of dishes in the cupboards. Mosquitos are bad right at dusk, bring the repellent, we left a bottle for future guests. Plenty of parking. Pool was very enjoyable. Glad there were latch locks on the inside of the doors to help us feel safe.

Everything You Could Ask For!

Our toddlers loved the swimming pool, and it kept them entertained for hours. My wife and I enjoyed walking along the beach and sitting in the gazebo taking in the spectacular view. The area is very quiet, and the property offers a great deal of privacy. We also enjoyed its central location. We were easily able to travel to the east, west, and north sides of the island. We cannot wait to return.

The week’s stay at Casa Tortuga
The location is excellent in relation to being on the water, and it is recommended you rent a car if you expect to go out for dinner or seeing the sights. The pool is nice and heated, however we had to call the pool company as the heater stopped working which was apparently due to a lack of maintenance. The grounds are adequate but again in need of general upkeep as we saw trash near the gazebo and behind the pool. The house is nice but in some need of updating or repair ie microwave, knobs on stove, refrigerator ice maker etc. No one came by all week to check on how we were or if we needed anything. As we have stayed in properties in the USA, Mexico, and Europe, this one would not be on the top of the list. For the price i would overall recommend seeking another venue.

Beautiful House
The location was perfect. It was away from the tourist crowd, and we were able to live like a local. The house was decorated with every turtle decoration which was cute. The decorations would of made me nervous with smal kids. Lots of breakables. Communication was amazing. We had to reschedule our honeymoon the day before we were suppose to leave, and the cayman villas made the last minute booking a breeze, which was very much appreciated. The only thing I could recommend would be a softer master bed (I know bed preference is hard). The bed was extremely hard, and we had to go sleep in the smaller bed. Another thing that would of been awesome was to have access to Netflix or Hulu.

Peaceful place
Casa Tortuga is exactly as described. Best beach area we saw in Frank Sound. Very private. We saw perhaps 2 other people walk the beach during an entire week. The reef area is calm. The property is very peaceful, many trees. Everyone enjoyed the outside gazebo in the morning and during the day. This is a beautiful and quiet part of the island. Best for people who really want to get away from crowds, enjoy local food and interact with local culture. Many excellent small roadside restaurants and places to visit. Definitely would rent a car to get around. Plenty of parking space on the property. The pool is clean and warm. Also a beautiful spot to sit during the day looking out over the beach and the ocean. Mitch is a kind and attentive person who lives in a nearby guesthouse. He watches over the grounds and is available to help with any issues or questions. We would stay here again!

Not the solitude advertised
Well the property is amazing, except there's a little guest house with garbage everywhere right next to the pool. They run a car detailing shop or something so there's lots of traffic. At one point we had to endure an open car door ding sound for over an hour. The general upkeep of the landscaping is non existent. We cleaned up beer bottles and trash including dozens of beer bottle caps that were fully rusty (not recent), if a palm frond fell by the pool they just pushed it off the side of the deck. With a little love and the guest house being quiet this would be the best place ever.
