Great friends get away!
We stayed for our annual Columbus Day weekend away with a group of 9 friends. The house was very comfortable and we had plenty of space. We really enjoyed the game room in the evenings - all the games were in excellent condition and everything was in working order (which has not usually been the case at other vacation rentals we have been to). We were lucky enough to have beatiful fall weather all weekend, so we could enjoy the lovely back yard. We made use of the gas grill, watch a playoff game on the big screen TV behind the outdoor bar, and sat around a roaring fire in the outdoor fireplace at night. We did have an issue with refrigerator, but the host was responsive. It wasn't able to be fixed during our stay, but luckily the house has a 2nd full size refrigerator in the basement. It was a little inconvenient, but we made do and the host was communicative and apologetic. We had a great weekend and hope to go back in the summer so we can use the beautiful pool!

Beautiful house and responsive owners
We did a guys golf weekend and the house was excellent. Very clean, amazing back patio area with pool, hot tub, and tiki bar. Owners were very responsive. Would highly recommend this house!

Wonderful, long weekend!
We had a wonderful stay here over a long weekend. The house was amazing and just what we needed for three families-plenty of beds, living areas, and outdoor space to do things together but also have a little space if one needed it. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and do more things in the surrounding area though we did make it to the castle (so cool!) and the train ride. Communication was also great and speedy. Highly recommend this spot-we are hoping to go back next year for sure!

Amazing Vacation
We are long time vacation renters hosting our children and grandchildren for summer vacations. All agree this is the best house with everything for the adults and four teenagers! There are so many places to enjoy; pool area, game room, porches, kitchen even some lively poker games. We were there during an extreme heat wave and the central air made for very comfortable sleeping. The pictures and overview of this listing reflect why it is so popular the perfect place for friends and family to gather. Thank you Deb and Sean. We are already planning our 2025 return. .

We've stayed at this house before and love it! The whole family is entertained in the game room and there's plenty of space to be together, but also be apart, which is so important for family gatherings. House is immaculately kept and stocked with everything you need. The backyard looks amazing but it's been too cold to use!

Family Birthday Celebration
This house was by far the best house we have ever rented on VRBO. We had all of our adult children and grandchildren for the weekend to celebrate my 70th birthday. The home was so comfortable and easily accommodated 13 of us. The weather was perfect so we spent the whole weekend in the outdoor space. Watched football at the bar, swimming in the pool, jumping in the hot tub, and ending the night sitting around the fireplace. We hope to return soon!

Our families travelled from Toronto and Boston to this great family home. Spacious and beautiful, this home was perfect for the 9 of us! This property was very well maintained and had so much for our large family group (9 adults, 5 very young children) to enjoy. The pool area was the nicest we have ever seen in a rented vacation home. Beside the pool is a large bar area, where we ate dinner most nights. We visited a few surrounding locales - Gillette Castle State Park, Devil's Hopyard, and a little farm where we could feed the goats. Fun time had by all. 5 stars!

The house was great and perfect for all ages. The kids had a ton of fun in the pool and game room while the adults enjoyed the hot tub! We enjoyed cooking on the grill and eating at the poolside bar when the weather was nice. The accommodations were more than enough for the 14 of us.

Amazing Property
We were a group of 12 cousins between ages 5 to 61 coming from various different states. This house hit all our needs. It was spacious and clean. We loved using the game room and hot tub. There was so much to do inside the house that there was no need to go anywhere. That said, Mystic was still close by, as was Essex. The hosts were also amazing and answered any questions we had immediately. We had a wonderful experience and i highly recommend this house to anyone looking!

This place is amazing!
