"Everything about our stay was wonderful! We loved the location, and the views--especially at the bottom of the two trails down to the water. The house itself was so clean and welcoming--and even had a fun welcome giftbag that was provided. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were all generous in size, delightful in feel, especially the upstairs accommodations where we felt pampered! "This cabin retreat is located about an hour south of Bar Harbor and 45 minutes north of Camden. It is out-of-the-way enough where it forces you to take your time and relax. The wooded area by the lake is ideal for hanging a Hamic, setting up a fire pit and fishing off the dock. The outdoor shower was unexpected yet idyllic. "I can’t say enough about how nice the staff is at this place. Yes it’s an older place, but very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was served by two super sweet ladies and there many selections to choose from. Cost is included with your stay. When we checked in we were offered a selection of pastries and various snack foods. Again included in the cost of our stay. The man working the desk was very pleasant and informative. This is the first time I have taken the time for a review because I really think they deserve the recognition. Don’t be fooled by the looks of the building. Quite and clean"
