We happened to do both and the fishing was very good, especially when we canoe floated from the end of the Lewistown Narrows to Mifflintown (approx. 4 miles). "My daughter and I really enjoyed our ten-day stay in Granville, along the Juniata River. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful in this out-of-the way location, but just a short drive to town for supplies. The free-range chickens were entertaining but made a mess on the front porch. However, the care taker swept and hosed it off regularly. I would rent this place again."

"Owner very accommodating w/information re: the property. Property was better than advertised and fit our families needs very well. We had 12 people and plenty of beds and bathrooms. "This is a beautiful property. We had little kids with us and they had a blast. There was so much for them to do from chasing fireflies at night to riding bikes down the driveway. The inside of the house is exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The host has it well stocked with all of the necessities, even lots of toys for the kids to play with. It was a wonderful week, full of laughter and good conversation in the most peaceful Space."

"The house was very clean and smelled so good! It was quiet and peaceful! The towels were large. The beds were very clean (my daughter, who is picky about the sheets she sleeps on, had no problem sleeping here). The muffins they left for us were a thoughtful idea and tasty! The air conditioning did a great job. It was a little different to get to the second bedroom through the first bedroom. The curtains that were there for privacy was a good idea! We would stay here again, gladly!"
