If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, look no further! This carriage house is on 11 acres of forest just down the road from Shawnee mountain and 20 minutes from Camelback. A quiet getaway in the heart of skiing, hiking, kayaking, biking, golfing, and all sorts of outdoor experiences. The house has a kitchenette with a mini-fridge and an outdoor fire pit area to roast marshmallows and hang out in the evenings. Close to restaurants and breweries -including PA’s only sake brewery!

Beautiful place in the country
This is a wonderful cabin in the woods. Very private, heavily wooded and secluded. There is a residence next door but the setting still promotes solitude. Clean, pleasant and comfortable with all the expected amenities. The shower (no tub) is very spacious and the water pressure nice and strong. The cabin had everything we needed, including two air conditioners for the unusually hot weather. Check in was simple and door locking mechanism easy to use. The pictures do show steps leading up to the second floor entrance. If you have difficulty with steps then exercise caution with this rental. My wife and I are in our mid-70's with 5 joint replacements between the two of us and we had no trouble with the steps. The handrail is very sturdy. We highly recommend this host and property.

Carriage House
Beautiful property set far enough back from the road that all you hear are birds. Well maintained. We loved "Derailed" and "Tom X" for dining. Bushkill Falls was amazing. Go for the red trail. You can do it!

We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Carriage House. What a lovely spot in the woods of the Poconos. Our plans —to do some walking, to eat out once and to eat in multiple times, to enjoy quiet time together, to read and relax— were fully met. It’s important that hosts can be reached and Chrissy was reachable throughout our three night stay. While we would have appreciated access to a barbecue as well as a small cutting board, these were small inconveniences on a very lovely stay.

Anniversary Getaway
Every year we try to stay in a cabin in a new place for our anniversary. This cabin is small, yet charming place perfect for a couple. I was a little bummed about there not being a stove but that was my fault for not reading the description better. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were great. Friendly and quick to answer any questions we had.

Clean and cozy cottage!!
Immaculate, cozy, comfy and a minute from Shawnee Mountain. My fiancé and I enjoyed our long weekend away from home. The cottage definitely made us feel like home and had us very comfy for our entire stay. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to get away. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This cozy carriage house was everything we could have wanted in a weekend away. Couch and bed were so comfy. Plenty of blankets, well equiped kitchenette and awesome water pressure in the shower. Probably my favorite place I've rented!

Perfect Getaway
Property was perfect for what we were looking for. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing long weekend hiking, site seeing, dining and shopping. The property was a perfect place to sleep in, watch movies and relax in. We had a comfortable sectional in the woods with a propane fire pit that was perfect for reading my book. Place had a small kitchenette that we could warm up food and a small fridge for drinks. Host was quick to respond to all messages and location was in the middle of all of our weekend activities.
