"Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious!...

"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"The owners are nice and welcoming and the pool is very nice. They use their son and/or Google translate for interacting with non-Italian speakers. The place is generally quiet expect after sunset when people play paddle ball in the adjacent courts. There are three ACs, one in each bedroom. There is an additional room that functions as kitchen, dinning room, and general seating area, and which has no AC. "Chiara is an exceptional host, easy to contact and had lots of great tips on where to go. You do need a car to visit all the wonderful towns and beaches nearby. I wish we had stayed longer as we couldn’t fit everything into one week. We particularly liked Noto, Ragusa and Marina Di Ragusa for the beach. The nearest town Sciciliis a fantastic place to eat in the evening as it is only a 12 minute drive and has so many good restaurants. The pool is really a plunge pool but good enough for cooling...
