Montgomery Lane Chalet is a family friendly, getaway home conveniently located in the heart of everything Orcas Island has to offer. It’s on a quiet residential street just east of Eastsound Village and is also near one of the island’s most popular public beaches, just a short walk or drive away. The Village is a three-minute drive, where everything is conveniently available for grocery shopping, outstanding restaurants, and so many boutique stores to wander through.

But the real treat is this cozy, family-oriented home that will be all yours to enjoy while on Orcas Island. You will enter the first floor into the large living/dining room combination area, next to the fully-stocked kitchen. The living room includes several comfortable sofas, a propane free-standing fireplace for warming your evenings and a large flat screen smart television for your viewing enjoyment.

Near the kitchen is an adjacent playroom, strategically located for ease in keeping track of what the young folks are doing, while you are cooking the family meals. Just down the first-floor hallway you’ll find the primary bedroom with its new king bed, including a luxury mattress for your sleeping comfort. Next to the bed is a delightful, padded window seat for relaxing and enjoying the morning sun. Across the hall you’ll find a gracious bathroom including a vanity and tile tub/shower combination. Also in the bathroom is a clothes washer and dryer for your laundry needs. Laundry soap is provided.

Venturing upstairs, turn right and you will find a sleeping area with two sets of single bunk beds for the kids. Also, upstairs is a western-facing bedroom with queen bed and an outside deck for sipping wine and watching the sunsets. Shared by both bedrooms is the second-floor full bathroom with another combo tub/shower arrangement.

Heading east out of town about five miles will bring you to Moran State Park with its lakes and Mt. Constitution for hiking, picnicking and so much Island fun. Go west to the Deer Harbor area and take part in whale watching boat trips. There is so much to do!

Great spot!
We were on Orcas for a wedding in Eastsound and this house was the perfect home base for our family. Cute, clean, well-appointed, comfortable. Lovely box of toys that kept our toddler busy for hours. The property manager was excellent. Highly recommended!
