We had to turn the heater on 80 all night and it ran all night and did completely warm up until right before we left at 8am. The shower was very good and had plenty hot water. "Our stay was everything it should’ve been. Communication was great, check in and out instructions were very clear and very simple making our arrival and departure so smooth. The home was clean and comfy, and just as described. The coffee bar was a very nice touch especially with the cold temperatures this week. Highly recommend!"

"It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!"

I would say this place is a bit more pet tolerant than pet friendly, but we were able to make it work. It was clean, efficient, and cute to boot. "The neatest little apartment in the Danville River District. It was chilly during our stay but we took advantage of the location and walked just a short distance to a couple local bars/restaurants, did the river walk, checked out the farmers market next door and ventured to the casino that was only a few miles away. A spring or summer stay will definitely be in our future! "

"I loved the people! Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to be helpful. Check in was easy and because we were there this trip for a funeral they got us into one of our rooms early so we could freshen up and change clothes before the service. They were very understanding and kind. Darrel was extremely helpful, he understood my husband was having health problems and could not walk long distances so he assigned us rooms near an exit we could park close to. We appreciate everything they did for us. "

"The stay was enjoyable overall. The level of smoke in the casino was not overwhelming, which was appreciated, and we understand that smoking is part of the typical casino environment. The availability of hot water for showers was consistent and reliable. The blackjack table I played at had a reasonable minimum bet of $15, which is in line with what one might expect, particularly on weekends or later in the evening when table limits tend to rise. The slot machines were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Although the room rate was slightly higher due to our weekend stay, this is understandable. Despite this, we are looking forward to returning in the future."
