The Carriage House is in a wonderful location; quiet, beautiful and easy walking distance to Broad Street. The rooms were lovely! Every amenity was available, plus the ambience was very comfortable, with a touch of luxury. The property manager and staff were readily accessible, but allowed my daughter and me to enjoy the garden area as if it were our own. I'd readily return for another stay.

Sister’s Trip Perfection!
Edenton is truly one of the most beautiful and friendly small towns I have ever visited and the accommodations at The Carriage House match that beauty and warmth. The Carriage House is beautifully appointed, fully stocked with amenities and the bed is super comfortable. Hunter is a most gracious host and he knows no end to accommodating his guest’s stay. Special Place!
We have been to Edenton several times since discovering it in 2021, having stayed at The Carriage House every time. The porch views of the Albemarle Sound are breathtaking! You will enjoy shopping on Main Street ( 5 min walk), the friendly folks and close restaurants. If you are a history buff there is much to see and learn about in this charming town.

Quaint stay in downtown Edenton
Listing just as described. Beautiful cottage with all that is needed for a weekend stay. Historic sites within walking distance and tasty restaurants to end the day. Nightcaps on the front porch with a glass of wine to enjoy the view was our favorite part. Would not hesitate to book again.

Perfect in every way
This carriage house is exactly as described and pictured. Location is walking distance to many restaurants & Shopping. Our favorite eatery was Herringbones. Hunter was a pleasure to work with while booking our stay. There is a self guided tour to some very interesting history in Edenton.

Carriage House Christmas
We are frequent visitors to Edenton and exclusively stay at this or its’ sister property. Both properties are beautifully decorated and scrupulously clean and well appointed. The host is a phone call and a few steps away. The location is easily walkable to all of the downtown attractions. I can’t recommend the property highly enough!!

Beautiful VRBO in Edenton, NC
We just completed our stay in the Carriage House with the most wonderful Judy Burch and her son Hunter. The place itself was beautiful with everything you could possibly need near at hand. The view from the Front Porch was also delightful. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edenton, NC. The town itself is so historic and beautiful and the people so friendly I think everyone should visit! When you're visiting you can't go wrong with a stay in the carriage house!!!

The community is terrific as are the property owners. The property is beautiful and close to everything. The owners were anxious to please and very generous but allowing for privacy. The only surprise was all the living space (bedroom, kitchen and bath are upstairs)

Nice cottage in a great location
We thoroughly enjoy d our stay at the cottage. We loved that it was within walking distance of restaurants and downtown. Being so close to the water was fabulous. Hosts were very gracious and welcoming. The only thing I didn’t realize was that the “kitchen” was limited - didn’t realize we wouldn’t have the ability to cook, but with everything so close, it wasn’t an issue. Also, no way to do laundry, but our stay was fairly short that turned out okay too. Had we stayed longer, that may have been an issue, so just something to be aware of - it was probably stated in the property description and I missed it. Overall, a great little get-away!

We were greeted so warmly by Judy Burch as she welcomed us to her lovely home. It was very well appointed-super clean and even had snacks available for us. They were available when we had any questions and we even had cocktails together on their beautiful front porch. A delightful visit to such a gorgeous, friendly town.
