"This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight. "This hotel was centrally located in old town Edinburgh within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and historic sites. My favorite aspect was drinking coffee in my hotel room while enjoying a spectacular view of the castle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and the pool looked great but we spent our time enjoying the city. I can’t wait to come back to Edinburgh and when I do I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again. "
