Both bedrooms have comfortable beds and my cleaners place fresh, hotel quality linen and towels on your bed prior to arrival.
And of course, let us not forget to mention our well-designed, sunny private garden with BBQ and patio heater where you can enjoy the sun and fresh air.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay.
The Neighborhood:
This is a nice quiet part of town to stay, but all the fun/lively places are just a short walk away. Best of both worlds!!
In the house manual there is a list of top tips for places to eat/drink etc.
Getting Around:
To be honest I walk most places- nothing is that far in central Edinburgh. 5 min to Broughton St or Canonmills 10 min to Waverley (use the back entrance) 15 min to centre of town. 15 min to The Shore in Leith 15 min to Stockbridge But otherwise...... Cycling As well as cycling on the roads there are loads of off road cycle paths cunningly hidden away in Edinburgh. The best source of them is the Inner Tube website, but essentially there is a whole network you can use to explore the city and beyond (Portobello, Forth Road Bridge, Queensferry, Hopetoun House, etc). Most are former train lines so are pretty flat. And one access point to this network is about 2 min from my front door!! Taxis Most taxi companies are ok. I tend to use Central cabs ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)). Uber is also very easy to use. Buses Plenty of buses on Leith Walk and Broughton Street. The MyBusTrip app is really useful for bus times. Lothian buses have their own app too. Tram The tram is a short walk away- just at end of Broughton Street, but I tend to find the buses quicker and cheaper. Airport If a few of you, may be as cheap to get taxi. If on my own I get airport bus to town then either walk or taxi it. Tram is also an option to top of Broughton Street.
